Planning your wedding? We’re here to capture every magical moment with a fun, energetic, and deeply personal approach. Based in Penarth, we create a relaxed, joyful atmosphere that helps you and your loved ones feel at ease - from the morning preparations to the evening celebrations. Many couples tell us how our friendly and enthusiastic style makes everyone comfortable, so the real emotions and beautiful moments shine through.
As passionate wedding photographers, we focus on telling the story of your day through timeless, emotive images. Expect a mix of beautifully composed couple portraits, lively group shots, and candid moments filled with genuine emotion. We pay close attention to detail and use natural light alongside flash to ensure your photos are not just pictures, but cherished memories you’ll treasure forever.
Your photography experience should be as enjoyable as your wedding day itself. To make sure we’re the perfect fit, we offer a complimentary engagement shoot. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and helps you feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera before your big day.
Our passion is to create a stunning visual story of your wedding day - capturing the love, excitement, and joy so that every time you look at your photos, you relive those special moments all over again.
My style of wedding photography is relaxed, elegant and story-driven, with a focus on capturing your day in a way that feels genuine, timeless and completely personal to you.
Rather than turning your wedding into a production or having you spend hours posing for photos, I prefer to let the day unfold naturally. I’ll offer gentle guidance when needed - particularly for portraits and family photographs - but for the most part, I’m quietly observing and documenting the moments that matter most. The excitement before the ceremony, the proud smiles from parents, the tears nobody expected, the laughter during speeches, the hugs, the glances, and all the little moments happening in between. Those are often the memories that become the most treasured.
My aim is for you to be fully present with the people you love, while I create a beautiful, authentic record of the day as it really felt.
Absolutely. While family photos might not be the part of the day everyone is counting down to, they often become some of the most treasured images in the years that follow.
I’ll make sure the process is organised, relaxed and as efficient as possible, so you can get back to celebrating with your guests rather than standing in a never-ending line-up. Before the wedding, we’ll put together a simple list of the groupings that matter most.
And trust me, having a plan is important - because without fail, there’s always one family member who mysteriously vanishes just as it’s their turn for a photo. Nine times out of ten, they’ve somehow found their way to the bar.
One of the most memorable weddings I’ve photographed was a beautiful celebration that brought together Russian and Greek Orthodox traditions. It was a day filled with incredible energy, deep emotion and rich family customs.
What I love about weddings like this is being immersed in traditions that are new to me and seeing how different families celebrate in their own way. This wedding certainly delivered on that front, including one particularly memorable custom where the groom was invited to drink vodka from his mother-in-law’s shoe. Thankfully, my role was strictly to document the occasion rather than participate in it - which was probably for the best, both professionally and medically.
Beyond the unexpected footwear-based refreshments, it was an unforgettable day full of warmth, laughter, proud family moments and genuine joy. It perfectly captured what I love most about wedding photography: every wedding has its own story, and sometimes those stories are wonderfully unpredictable.
Yes. I’m based in South Wales, but I regularly travel for weddings across the UK and further afield. Whether you’re getting married in Cardiff, the Cotswolds, London, Scotland, France or halfway up a mountain somewhere, I’m always happy to chat through the plans. Travel and accommodation costs may apply depending on the location, but I’ll always be clear about that upfront.
Yes! Destination weddings are some of my favourite celebrations to photograph. There’s often a completely different feel to them - less rushing, more time together, and a real sense of everyone settling into the experience rather than simply turning up for the day.
Because your guests are usually sharing a few days, there are more opportunities to capture the atmosphere, the anticipation, and all those in-between moments that help tell the full story. From welcome drinks and sunset strolls to late-night celebrations, destination weddings are often far more than a single day.
I photograph weddings throughout Europe, and am happy to travel further afield. To keep things simple, I provide a clear, bespoke quote that includes everything you need - photography, travel, accommodation and any additional coverage - so you know exactly what to expect, with no unwelcome surprises. The only thing that should be unexpected on your wedding day is who ends up leading the dance floor at midnight.
For most full-day weddings, I’m there from the morning preparations right through to the first dance and the celebrations that follow. This allows me to capture the complete story of your day.
I find that some of the most memorable photographs happen at both ends of the day: the calm moments before everything begins, and the wonderfully unfiltered moments later on when everyone has fully relaxed and is making the most of the celebration.
For smaller weddings, intimate celebrations, elopements or weekday ceremonies, shorter coverage options are also available. Every wedding is different, so I’m happy to tailor coverage around your plans to make sure the moments that matter most are beautifully documented. And yes, that usually includes the point in the evening when at least one guest becomes absolutely convinced they should be headlining Glastonbury rather than dancing to a wedding playlist.
Yes, I do - and I honestly think engagement shoots are one of the most valuable (and enjoyable) parts of the whole experience.
They’re a brilliant way to ease into being photographed without the time pressure or emotion of the wedding day itself. Most couples arrive a little unsure, usually with the classic line of “we’re really awkward in photos,” and within a short while they’ve completely relaxed into it - no awkwardness in sight.
It’s also a great opportunity for us to meet properly and for you to get comfortable in front of my camera before the big day. By the time your wedding arrives, it all feels far more natural, like having a friend there rather than a stranger with a camera.
And if nothing else, it’s a nice excuse for a bit of time together, a good walk, and some photos that feel like you - just without the confetti, timeline, or panic about whether the florist has turned up yet.
Definitely. Most couples tell me this. My job is not to make you feel like models. My job is to make you feel comfortable enough that you forget about the camera as much as possible. I’ll give simple direction when needed, keep things relaxed, and avoid anything that feels stiff, cheesy or painfully awkward. No forced catalogue poses. No “look wistfully into the middle distance as though you’ve just remembered you left the oven on.”
The number can vary depending on the length and flow of your wedding, but for a full-day celebration you can typically expect a thoughtfully curated gallery that tells the complete story of your day.
I don’t believe in overwhelming you with thousands of near-duplicates just to inflate the numbers. Instead, I focus on quality over quantity, carefully selecting and editing the strongest images so every photo included has a purpose.
You’ll receive a full set of beautifully edited images in my signature style, ready to download, share with family and friends, and print for your walls.
Delivery times can vary depending on the time of year, but I’ll always give you a clear idea when you book. During busy wedding season, galleries naturally take a little longer because each wedding deserves proper care and attention. I’d rather do the job properly than rush it out and hope nobody notices.
