What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was a recent one in October! A barn wedding for a nature loving couple, burnt orange colour scheme through the decorations and flowers, and lots of activities such as live singers, sparklers, and a ceilidh band for the first dance!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, fun, intimate, alternative, moody
What about your business are you most proud of?
Making it as a female photographer! I've had a lot of help from family and friends but I'm so proud to have started and continue to run my own business!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Ignore traditions, make the day perfect for you! Don't do anything to please others, its your day so plan whatever you want and go with it!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Handmade keyrings for all the guests, including me!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Pop me a message to begin chatting with me! We can do it all over email or book in for a zoom chat, whatever your preference. If you decide to book, awesome! You'll be sent my booking form and then you're pretty much booked in! If you booked and engagement shoot, we get that organised so we can meet up in person to get to know each other more. On the big day, I'll sadly be following you round all day, capturing those intimate and candid moments. For the couples shoot, I like to take 10-20 minutes out to get those amazing shots, then back to the party!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Photos of just you two!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
If you are up for it, I'm all for getting photos in the rain. But just incase, pick a venue that you'll be happy to have indoor photos taken as rain is very likely in this country.
Describe how you got into photography.
Started with music photography when I was at university. Slowly I moved into portraits and then got lucky and was asked to assist photographing a wedding.
