Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to look through my photos. I'm super grateful that you're here!
I’ve been obsessed with photographing people and real moments since I can remember. 17 years ago I followed my passion across the world and moved from Canada to the UK to study photography at University in Derbyshire, where I am now based.
I fell truly passionate about weddings after my own, so I'm not just a photographer - I love all things wedding! And as a former bride, I completely understand and relate to the planning process, alongside the excitement, which you're probably feeling right now.
My favourite things to photograph are real moments, laughter, fun, and people enjoying themselves.
I also love capturing natural, romantic couples photos. My main priorities for your day are candid moments throughout, and some beautiful photos of the two of you. Because if you're anything like me and my husband, we don't have many good photos of ourselves! And I want to make sure I capture you both looking and feeling your best! Having said that, I don't believe your wedding is a photoshoot, so I do the best I can to also ensure you enjoy your day!
I am a pretty chill person, so on the day itself I work calmly but also take charge when it's needed. I aim to feel like a natural part of the day and feel unobtrusive.
Outside of photography, my world revolves around my two 4 year old girls, which means life is very loud and never dull. Being a mum is by far my greatest joy aside from wedding photography.
If you think we are a good fit, then I would absolutely love to hear about your special day!
Once I’ve confirmed that your wedding date is available, I’ll send over your contract to review and sign, along with details to pay the £350 booking deposit. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the big day. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, that’s it - your date is officially secured.
Yes - travel is included within the UK for both full day and half day packages. For weddings outside the UK, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to provide a bespoke quote.
Although my photography style is natural and documentary-led, group photos are still an important part of the day. Around 8 weeks before your wedding, I’ll ask you to share a list of the group photos you’d like so we can stay organised and move through them efficiently. That way, we get everything covered without taking you away from enjoying your day.
I do - and I really encourage my couples to book one if they can. It’s such a lovely chance for us to spend a bit of time together before the wedding, and it helps you feel much more relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera on the day itself. Engagement sessions are available Monday to Friday and take place within Derbyshire and the East Midlands.
I completely understand any concerns, and I have a robust backup plan in place. I’m part of a trusted network of professional wedding photographers who could step in at short notice if ever needed. In the unlikely event that this happened, one of my photographer peers would photograph your day, and I would take care of the editing and delivery of your images as normal. This is an absolute worst-case scenario, but my priority would be to make the process as seamless and stress-free for you as possible.
I will always aim to deliver the images within one month from the wedding date. However, in busier seasons it is possible it may take 6-8 weeks.
Yes — your images are fully backed up, and I am fully insured. I use two cameras to photograph with on the day, and I shoot with dual card slots in each camera, meaning your images are recorded to two cards simultaneously in case one were ever to fail. After the wedding, all RAW files are backed up in three separate locations, including secure cloud storage, until your gallery has been delivered.
I also hold both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. If your venue requires copies of my insurance documents, I’m very happy to provide these on request.
The photos are delivered in high-res JPGES, fully edited, via a very beautiful online gallery. You will receive a link to your gallery, and you will also have a separate link to easily share with family and friends. The gallery is extremely easy to use. You can easily download all the photos in high-res with a click of button, or if you're viewing the gallery on your mobile device, you can also download web-size photos individually. The gallery is also conveniently connected to a high-end print shop which offers albums, canvases, thank you cards, and so much more!
Yes! And I highly encourage you to get one if it's in your budget! I offer several different options and customisations so you have a lot to choose from!
Every wedding is different. The number of images will depend on guest numbers, activities, and hours of coverage. So it's very hard to place a number which is why I can't say exactly. Having said that, I always say the minimum is roughly 500 for a full day wedding with 80 guests, and 250 for half day, but generally there will be a lot more than that.
