What is your most memorable wedding?
I remember every wedding I've shot. They're all different & they have all been memorable for different reasons.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unposed, candid, natural, relaxed, storytelling
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Dont sweat the small stuff, just relax and enjoy the day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I reply to the initial enquiry and schedule a time for a phone call to talk further, to find out if what I do is what the couple wants, from there if the couple likes what I do I send them a contract and request a booking fee which closes the date off in my diary. From that point until the wedding day I am available for telephone / email consultations whenever the couple needs me. The wedding day arrives and afterwards, within 4 weeks I deliver the digital images in an online gallery and on a USB stick.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There is no specific image that every couple should take. Every wedding and every couple is different, my pictures are not taken from a template of what a wedding should like like, they reflect the couple.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I dont get asked to take specific pictures at a wedding. My couples trust in me to deliver a collection of images that will remind them of what the day felt like to be there.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
My advice to all couples is to not fret about anything. Things go wrong, it rains, buttonholes get left at home. None of it matters. The day is about the wedding and the celebration, nothing can affect that.
Describe how you got into photography.
The same as a million photographers the world over I was given a camera as a youngster and something clicked. I have been making pictures ever since.
