What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding is memorable, in it's own unique way.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, modern, timeless, artistic, unintrusive
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our images!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try to keep everything in perspective.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Oooh that's a tough one! There's been so many! I think keeping it personal is key.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Un-intrusive, natural images whilst getting ready with maybe a few 'composed' shots before the main event. Subtle shooting throughout the ceremony, quick and efficient formal group shots and as little time with the bride and groom as possible (they want to spend time with their friends and family, and not me!) All whilst capturing the finer details and stories as they unravel throughout the day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Natural ones!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
If I get asked to take a specific photo, then it's normally already been shot and seen on Pinterest etc. The original photos are the natural photos of the happy couple I think!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Do not panic! Photos in the rain can be really beautiful! Prepare, have a pretty brolly to hand and you probably won't need it...
In reality, IF it is an inclement day, we will have planned for this already, so trust your photographer! In our experience, it's rarely bad all day, so we will do our best to work around the weather and still ensure we achieve the finest images for you.
Describe how you got into photography.
I took photography at Art College (a 'few' years lol!) ago, travel called then life took over and another 'few' years later I picked up the camera again in the background at friends weddings. A pet portrait lead to a wedding (I know!), which lead to a few more and the rest as they say is history! Maxi has been my full-time occupation now since 2014 and although it's hard work, I love every single second!
