"Not only was Max professional and accommodating, it felt like he went the extra mile to make us feel at ease and adapt to our needs/environment. We can't recommend him highly enough! "
I love all things photography and videography and couldn't think of a better job. I am a full time photographer, shooting a mix of weddings, events, corporate and fine art work which keeps every week interesting. I love having a camera in my hands and even when I go on holiday, it is usually to photograph landscapes in some remote (often very cold) part of the world.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Max Langran
Hey! Feel free to ask any initial questions, but the best way to get answers and get a feel for what I do is to put me on the spot in a meeting. A video call or a coffee in person if you are local to Brighton are both fine and there's no obligation, it's just a friendly chat.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Candid, cinematic, relaxed, natural, non-intrusive

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being a photographer is my dream job and I have been lucky enough that it has been my career my whole adult life.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make sure you allow yourself some time to fully take in the moment. Organise before, but then let go of unimportant things on the day and enjoy it.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

First is an initial no obligation meeting to discuss your day. This can be a call or a coffee in person, and is a great way to get to know me and what it is I do. We are then available for prep meetings at your convenience all the way up until the big day.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Photographers all love the portfolio pictures, the sunset couples shoots, the big landscapes, and I'm no exception. But the no.1 photo you should take is just a nice picture with those nearest and dearest to you. Those are the ones you'll look back on most fondly.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

The full bridal party running away from a giant (photoshopped) t-rex, Jurassic Park style.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas, wellies, and embracing that it will still be an amazing day regardless of the weather.

Describe how you got into photography.

I always had a disposable camera when we went on family holidays. When I was 8, I saved up all my pocket money for a year and, with some help from family, got my first little digital camera. Fast forward quite a few years, and I have rarely been seen without a camera in my hands since.
