FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding so far?

The first wedding I had the privilege of capturing has to be my most memorable. It was at Gylen Castle on Kerrera. It was a small wedding surrounded by close friends and beautiful scenery. It started with the long walk to the castle, a beautiful ceremony in beautiful weather and then the long walk back to the ferry and across to The Oban Bay Hotel for dinner.

What does working with me look like?

The first step is to get in touch with me if I'm the photographer for you. This is usually done by email. After the initial call, we can arrange to meet prior to the wedding if it suits you.

A deposit is then paid to secure the day, and the remainder is paid prior to handover of the final images.

A few weeks before the wedding, I will visit the location to have a look around, get a feel for the place and look for any potential locations for the couple shots. I will then get in touch with you regarding my plans so that on the day we can be prepared and minimise any delay in getting you back to the celebrations!

What is the most memorable photo you've taken at a wedding?

One that sticks with me was in the forest at Strachur. We had less than favourable conditions on the wedding day, making things very challenging, but there was a moment as the bride and her father walked towards the wedding location: the bride a little nervous and excited, a clear umbrella above their heads, and a smile on their faces. There was something beautiful about that moment.
