The Candid package is the perfect package for those intimate weddings where you want your photographer to blend in and capture those candid moments interlaced with stunning portraits and group shots

1 photographers for your wedding day
Planning meeting at your venue, if north east based or a zoom call if further a field.
8 hours professional photography coverage of your wedding day. When we say all day we mean it, everything from bridal prep to first dance and beyond
if time allows 5-10 pro images delivered to you on the day to share with friends and family
600 images on average but no limits
Delivered on a Wooden USB in a matching presentation box
Images also available for you and your family to view and download online in a password protected album
a selection of images presented in a slideshow set to your music as a truly beautiful way to remember the day

That's us, we love photography and weddings, every wedding is so special to us, each one is a real passion project.
we aim to make your day extra special we're there to take photos and capture the day but we'll also keep you on time, help make sure you're where you need to be, be there to hold the bouquet and get you a drink, we'll have a hanky to hand and even carry a sewing kit just in case. Our style is photojournalistic or candid and we interlace these images documenting your day with stunning portraiture. Your wedding day is just that ... your wedding day, so we try to blend in as much as possible and are never a distraction our job is done when we get every image needed whilst going relatively un-noticed.

What is your most memorable wedding?
A stunning wedding at Bolton castle, Emily and Shane picked an amazing location and wanted a good amazing of wedding portraits. We captured the candid photos telling the story of there wedding day and a whole host of amazing portraits from around the castle
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Cadid, laid back, un-intrusive, fun, modern style
What about your business are you most proud of?
That we’re a family run business. I'm really proud and honoured to work with my family. I (Richard) am one of the lead photographers, my eldest daughter Courtney is one of the other lead photographers and my wife Tracey runs our sister company www.luxphotobooths.co.uk and joins us occasionally as a second shooter. Were also joined by another Lead photographer Natali and work regularly with 3 other photogtaphers who join us as second shooters.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan well ahead it takes all the pressure off, an example is we take bookings up to 4 years in advance.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Having great entertainment at the reception some of the best weddings we seen have singers, magicians and photo booths this keeps everyone entertained and keeps the party going long into the night with everyone having a great time.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After booking we keep in touch planning in a meeting either at our studio or the venue 4/6 weeks before the wedding we talk through the wedding and plan out the photography we then do a test shoot to provide poses and to alleviate and nerves. We always do a venue visit prior to a wedding to plan everything for the day. Every wedding and couple are different so we Taylor our planning to meet a couples requirements.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
It’s probably not the favourite from every album but a great group shot of everyone attending is a must as it’s a good one to look back on over the years and remember who was there.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A photo on the beach in Sunderland with the bridal party behind holding coloured smoke flares
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it, in England it’s going to happen we always always have a plan B for every photo that’s outside. We always carry umbrellas and a photo poking fun at the weather is a great way of remembering yes it rained but it didn’t matter, lastly prepare from a dash outside at the last minute when there’s a break in the weather to get some photos
Describe how you got into photography.
I bought a camera as a hobby fell in love and quickly started buy more and more expensive gear I then put in for my advanced diploma and shortly after qualifying got asked to do a friends wedding and it snowballed from there.
