From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank John Lockyear Wedding Photography for beautifully documenting our special day and ‘OMG’... words cannot describe how elated we are with each and every single picture taken. John was the first and only wedding photographer we met. I remember viewing his previous work and telling Craig... “I’ve found our photographer, we aren’t looking elsewhere!” his unique style, creativity, flair and elegance within each image caught my eye. Every picture had it’s own story. We simply loved John’s attention to detail, his work is in a league of its own and his photographs have created forever memories for us, our families and friends. Meeting with John was an absolute pleasure! Kind, warm, honest and humorous, what more, he got our sense of humour and with that, the 3 of us clicked, I think we all laughed through most of that meeting! He took the time to listen to us and understand what we wanted from him as our photographer! On the day, John came to the House where bridal preparations were underway and settled into the chaos of hair, makeup, laughter and tears. Dad enjoyed talking with John and he honestly made everyone feel at ease, you wouldn’t have thought we had a photographer amongst us, he let us get on with beautifying and just clicked away! He really did capture the essence of the day. Scott was with Craig and his family, he took some amazing shots of the Groom & best man preparations, they really did look like something out of GQ magazine! Waistcoats being buttoned and artistic shots of their Italian suits, shoes and cuff links. The ceremony and evening celebrations went so well and every moment was perfectly captured, from saying ‘I do’, to group shots, cake cutting and first dance! John managed to document it all. The day went so fast, we are so thrilled we chose such a talented and artistic photographer to help make our memories something we can visibly cherish forever!
