I'm always helpful, from advising what to do next, to tying ties, putting on pins, giving lifts even talking round nervous best men before their speeches it puts all the guests at ease and they respond to direction better.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't sweat the small stuff and avoid unnecessary meltdowns, if something isn't how you expected... take a breath and think will anyone else notice. If not let it go and enjoy your day. The amount of times I've see people have a melt down over the smallest of things, I find I have to talk the round as it affects the shots and there mood in the pictures.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Honestly it was something I did, it was absolutely pouring down with rain the wedding party were supposed to walk the short walk from the church back to the venue. I had the car because of kit, I took the brides party back to the reception venue, after that they all treated me like part of the family and we got some lovely, fun shots.

Phonecall/email then to meeting the couple. They realise I know a lot about what happens on the day lots of emails and advise on all the day, not just photography. Sometimes when they realise I can do a lot more than take photos the help goes through the roof even things like invites, ....shoot wedding....deliver pictures....and relax.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A shot that is personal to you, bring props... cars, bicycles, pets etc etc

Smile and remember black and white images will make you forget the conditions. Umbrellas are great props so have a bit of fun in the rain.
