What is your most memorable wedding?
I was photographing the super intimate Italian civil ceremony of my two best friends in Tuscany the day before their big wedding party. I knew them before they got together, so to be able to be there and share in that occasion with them was amazing.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do what works for you. The day is about celebrating your love with your friends and family, so don't feel like you have to do certain things or can't do certain things - do what makes you happy!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always love to hear about wedding plans, so once you enquire I'll definitely have been searching and falling in love with your venue already! Some couples like to meet and have a chat about their days over coffee and cake, but I'd say that the majority of my couples don't tend to. After the deposit and booking form is filled in, we'll keep in touch as I love to hear how your planning is getting on. I'll send a details form to you to go over timings and any other important info.
On the day, I'll arrive for bridal prep and stay until evening dancing.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
As the sun sets the light is incredible, so if you can spare 10 minutes in the evening for some more couples portraits it's definitely worth it!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Getting a clear umbrella (umbrella is optional) and just getting out there! Some of the best light is when it rains as the light is lovely and even, so definitely make the most of it. Rain can be beautiful!
