My photography style is natural, light and honest. I enjoy capturing real love stuff, the little things and the big feelings.
My style on the day is no-fuss and very relaxed. I blend in with the guests to let your day happen as planned. I don’t carry big lighting set-ups and I won’t make you and your guests stand around for hours of formal photographs. I will, however, steal you two away from everyone for a romantic shoot at some point in the day and I will endeavour to capture the emotion of your guests throughout.
As every wedding is unique and personal to the couple, so is every quotation. My packages can be tailored to you and I will capture any part of the day you wish.
On your wedding day I can cover all your getting ready shots, your dress, shoes, flowers, photos with the bridesmaids, putting on your dress, pictures of the Groom and his Groomsmen, guests arriving, the ceremony, stunning Bride and Groom shots, photos with family and friends, documentary and candid style shots of you and your guests during the reception, the wedding breakfast, speeches and first dance.
As standard, a Crystal USB of all your photographs is included so you can cherish them forever. I also include a private online gallery so that you can download and share your images instantly! I also offer fine art prints and bespoke made albums with some of my packages or as an extra.
Every wedding booking is inclusive of an initial consultation, a location visit to discuss your wedding photography in full detail and an engagement shoot.
I also have trusted friends who are videographers; offering double the passion and a discount if you book us together!

Simply Stunning
Laura photographed our wedding for us in November, the pictures she took for us were simply stunning! We had so many compliments on them from all of our family & friends. The whole experience has been an absolute dream
What can we say about Laura? From our first enquiry where we chatted about our dogs to discussing albums after our big day, the whole experience has been an absolute dream. Communication was excellent throughout. She has this way about her that just settles you and we knew straight away that we had chosen the perfect woman for the job. It’s clear to see the passion she has for her work and that she genuinely cares about her clients. The package we chose included an engagement shoot and although we’re both a bit nervous in front of a camera, Laura made us feel at ease the second we met. She was so easy to get along with and was full of ideas. As soon as we saw our photos, our nerves about our wedding day disappeared as we knew we were in safe hands. As for the day itself, Laura outdid herself. She blended in perfectly and so many of our friends and family commented on how lovely she was. She really does go above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. Inspired by her past work, we even made a last minute decision a few days before to include sparklers. She coordinated this effortlessly and the results are stunning. We received a handful of photos the day after the wedding which we were obsessed with and then came the whole gallery less than two weeks later. Every single photo is of the highest quality and you can genuinely feel the love she puts into editing too. Nothing felt forced on the day and it shows in our photos, we couldn’t have wished for better. She captured so many beautiful and funny moments that we’d missed ourselves in the whirlwind of the day. Laura was our wedding photographer and we just can’t thank her enough for the photos that she took on the day. We have memories that will last forever. Laura was so professional but down to earth and friendly from the moment we inquired for her to photograph our day. Alcester Wedding
We chose Laura Jayne as the photographer for our vintage wedding last year and everything was just perfect for us. We met a few times to discuss the style of photos we would like and also met at the venue where Laura showed us lots of different places that would be great for taking different shots. Neither my husband or myself like to be the center of attention but Laura assured us she would just melt into the background and we wouldn't know she was there, and she was true to her word.
On our special day Laura arrived early and mingled with the guests taking natural photos as well as the more formal photos of me and my bridesmaid getting ready and of course the usual family photos, we felt perfectly comfortable with her being there. It was just an amazing day, everyone was so happy which definitely shows in our beautiful photos of which there were so any to choose from for our album. Laura also brought vintage props for the evening where she happily snapped away, all of our guests had the best fun and we laughed until we cried.
I would recommend Laura to anyone, she was so friendly and helpful and listened to everything we asked for to make our day so special and at a very reasonable price too. Thank you Laura you are amazing :)

What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding and favourite to photograph was Leah and Joes at Whitbourne Hall in Worcester. Everything was beautifully hand made, Leah suprised her husband by singing Fix You by Coldplay; the song which marked the moment Joe first told Leah he loved her. Their son also sang for his parents and they partied the night away on a bouncy castle.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Every moment in my business I am proud because I love what I do. Watching my business grow and for clients to love my work as much as I do is the greatest feeling.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan your day as YOU want, not to please everyone else.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My favourite moment ever at a wedding was when the fathers speech consisted of a Ukele and a comedic song that made everyone in the room cry and laugh at the same time.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Firstly I will discuss over email the couples wants and needs from a photographer. Once discussed and a quotation has been sent I will ask them if they would like to meet me for a coffee and consultation to discuss their wedding day. I find meeting couples is the best way to connect and for them to feel comfortable they have chosen the right photographer. After this meeting, I will finalise a contract and take a deposit payment which secures the wedding date in my diary. When convenient I will arrange a secondary meet, usually a couple of months before the wedding for a pre-wedding couple shoot (if requested), a location scout of the venue. During this meeting I will finalise any questions, ask for a family and friends group photo list and any other specific photos the couple want me to capture on the date. During this entire time, I am available to contact via phone or email! When the big day comes I will make sure I am at the venue early and ready to capture every moment.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Something fun and personal... a photograph that represents them as a couple.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I loved it when the Brides horse was outside the church, waiting for her, as a surprise (although I knew)! They had dressed the horse in matching flowers to the bride's bouquet and her emotion was just stunning.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Big white umbrellas - which I take with me to every wedding just in case! Photos can look stunning, especially at night when lit up!
Describe how you got into photography.
I have always had a passion for art and as a teenager, my Dad taught me 35mm film photography. When I was doing my A level art exam, it became apparent my love and talent for photography. This led me to study photography at University where I developed my skills and style!
