Hi! I'm Lauren, a 14 years experienced photographer and film maker based in South Wales and covering the UK and abroad. I specialize in capturing heartfelt, romantic wedding moments for couples who want to re-experience the emotions of the day in their full depth and vibrancy. Combining fine art and documentary styles, my work preserves the genuine emotions of your day — from laughter and tears to those candid, in-between moments that make your wedding truly yours.

Every couple is unique, and I'm there to highlight that with a “relaxed fine art wedding photography” style focused on beautiful natural light. My largely documentary approach lets you enjoy your celebration fully, while your story unfolds naturally through the lens. What is your most memorable wedding?
Jen and Simon in May 2015. It was a Scottish RAF wedding with an hilariously naughty bride and groom, a very mischievous sword party and far too many bare bottoms. It was the most fun wedding I have photographed, I don't think I've ever laughed so much! The fact that I was so willing to get involved in the mad antics and have a giggle was the reason Jen and Simon said they'd chosen me!

Earthy, fun, artistic, natural and contemporary
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud building my business from scratch alone and the fact that it grows naturally every year.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I would say to plan in more time than you think you need for each aspect of the day as things do inevitably run over and and the couple then feel rushed. I love seeing couples being able to fully enjoy the day. Also be sure to pause now and then on the wedding day to take it all in because it flies by so quickly.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when the bride, her mum and girlfriends all get involved in decorating the wedding reception room. I've seen some really inventive and absolutely beautiful touches and it means so much more when they've all put so much time and effort in to it.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Enquiry - We always meet before booking because I'm the supplier you'll spend all day with so it's really important that you feel totally at ease in my company. Chat through timings & details as it it helps you to iron out any potential issue areas. I've photographed over 350 weddings so my experience is often helpful here. I'm very opposed to sales tactics or pressure so it's more of a 'nice chat and see what happens' kind of approach. I just want my couples to feel good about their choice.
Booking - I send the deposit invoice, contract and a form to gather all the info. Then the date is all yours.
Engagement Shoot - Let's get to know each other ahead as this really reduces nerves on the day.
Ongoing Communication - I keep consistent communication throughout, offering guidance along the way.
Final Call - Either a zoom call or a venue walkaround for last minute checks 1-3wks before.
On to Day - Checkin the day before. Arrive early and then the fun really begins
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
You might think you don't want portraits of just the two of you on the wedding day but I think this is a must (though I'd never force it). You might feel they'll look staged and maybe you're uncomfortable having your photo taken but I have many ways of putting people at ease and capturing lovely natural images. The engagement session helps so much with this too!
Aside from having some beautiful photos of just the two of you, it also gives you a chance to get away from the madding crowd for at least 20 minutes and have a little time to yourselves.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
It has to be the one of the bride standing in the middle of a line of scotsmen wearing kilts and flashing their bottoms at me. I saw a little more than I wanted to that day :D
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Expect the best, prepare for the worst and just roll with it. If it's part of your day then we will do our best to incorporate it. Some of the most fun weddings I've captured have been the wet ones! It brings a feeling of 'we're in this together' and a level of intimacy that sunny weddings don't have.
Describe how you got into photography.
I went on a round the world trip and took with my little DSLR. I fell in love with photographing people in India and capturing real life moments throughout on that trip.
