What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
think about the kind of photos you want before hand! I would rather have a long list from you, and we'll try and do as many as possible, rather than you having no idea on the day and wishing you had just thought about it a little!!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
firstly, informal meeting, where I can show the couple some previous photos talk about prices and talk about poses. If they book me then next would be sorting out the deposit an signing the contracts! then I would visit the venues with or without the couple (depending on schedules). All the time I would be in contact with couple confirming times, poses, guest numbers etc.....
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
sitting/standing together in front of venue alone away from the guests at your wedding, taking a moment to enjoy and reflect on the nuptials that just took place.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
colourful umbrellas to embrace the weather!!! but I always have a back up plan of shots to take inside if the weather is horrendous outside.....
Describe how you got into photography.
It started as a hobby, then when my children were ready to start senior school, I took the step to run my own business. It's taken many years to build up my photography business but now I have my fingers in lots of pies and cover all sorts of photography as well as weddings to include School, graduations, proms, Tough mudder events and marathons too!!
