Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Honest, relaxed, emotive, fun and creative.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I've been told I am a calming influence at a wedding - forget those nerves, we will have a great time, I'll make you feel relaxed and you'll get photos you can treasure.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Definitely do things your way! Your wedding should be a reflection of you as a couple and what you're passionate about.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A wedding cake featuring the couple's two dogs and six guinea-pigs - loved members of the family who couldn't attend the wedding!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We always have a chat before your wedding so that we can get to know each other and so I know exactly what you have planned for your day. I always try to make sure my photographs reflect what is most important to you. We will also go through any group shots you would like to do so I have a list prepared to have with me on the day. I do recommend doing a pre-wedding photoshoot - not only is it great fun, its like a trial run so you know what its like to have your photo taken by your wedding. One less thing to worry about! On the day I'll be with you from the morning through to the evening. I do all I can to make sure your day is relaxed and runs smoothly. We will take a few minutes out during the day to take you off for your couples shoot, otherwise I capture the action as it happens. After your wedding I will be in touch to share your slideshow and wedding gallery with all your images. If you would like an album or more prints we can chat about the options.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Every couple is unique, so I don't think there is a number one photo which would apply to everyone. I try to get to know you as a couple so that I can take an image which will be your No 1 photo to treasure.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Enjoy it! Just because it rains on your wedding day doesn't mean it needs to be a wash-out. There are plenty of opportunities for great shots indoors, or outside with umbrellas. Take it all in your stride and don't let it dampen your day (geddit?!)
