I offer a range of wedding photography packages - from a few hours to as much shooting time as you need on the day. If you're looking for something slightly different please get in touch and I can create a quote based on what you need.

Small but mighty ... £400 for 2 hours, additional hours £150/hour. Locations over 10 miles from BS1 require hourly rate for travel time.

I am an experienced documentary reportage wedding photographer covering weddings across Bristol, the Cotswolds and South West. ENJOY YOUR WEDDING - This is always front and centre. You don’t want to spend too much of your day posing for photos – I totally get that. We will have fun. RELAXED & INFORMAL - Telling the real story requires a super relaxed approach – this is how I capture the most important moments. NATURAL PORTRAITS - Beautiful portraiture using natural light is my thing. We’ll get photos of groups however you want to but my focus is on real moments. EFFICIENT EDITING - You’ll have your pictures back quickly – less than 2 weeks for the full edit with no compromise on quality. EXPERIENCE - I’ve shot hundred of weddings and have many 5 star reviews – I know how to handle whatever happens on the day. FULLY INSURED - Full public liability insurance. Tick. Amazing photographer- captured the day perfectly
Karl photographed our wedding back in 2019. The photos turned out incredible. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Such a lovely person and easy to communicate with. We especially loved the candid photos. Everytime we look back at our wedding pictures our emotions are high again as he captured the perfect moments. We always say if we ever do vowel renewals we'll book him again!

Excellent photos - highly recommend!
From the moment we met with Karl we knew were in safe hands. He made us feel at ease with his relaxed, professional style. We were a little unsure to what we wanted in terms of portrait photos, luckily Karl had many suggestions & examples that had worked well for other couples. On the day all of our guests loved him! In addition to the portrait shots we requested, we were amazed at how he had managed to capture the atmosphere of the day with the candid photos he had taken through the day & evening. We opted to have a photo album through Karl, which we were over the moon with - beautiful photos & super quality album. Thank you Karl!!

Autumn Wedding
Karl was very responsive to all queries from booking, leading up to the day and after the wedding. He took the time to discuss timings and the photo shots we would like a few weeks before the wedding. He arrived early and captured our day from getting ready in the morning through to the evening party. We received our photos by email link within a week and a beautifully presented USB not long after in the post. Karl captured all those special moments from the day and it was a pleasure to have him as our photographer.

Amazing photographer, creative ideas for poses, great guy!
Karl was the perfect photographer for our wedding at Stone Barn in the Cotswolds. His ability to suggest great poses and ideas for shots was a lifesaver for us, as we were feeling a bit lost. The result was an abundance of amazing photos that captured the essence of our day, including one shot with a stunning sunset that has garnered numerous "wow" comments from everyone who's seen it (I love it so much that it's prominently displayed in both my house and on my work desktop!). Not only were Karl's photos exceptional, but his presence throughout the day was fantastic. His relaxed and friendly attitude was exactly what we needed, as he made everyone feel at ease. We love our wedding photos!
Karl did an amazing job as our wedding photographer in March 2018. He was great at blending in and therefore got some great natural shots, which we just love. He was great with all of our guests and really listened to what we wanted. He is very friendly and approachable and not at all overpowering like some other wedding photographers we have seen at weddings! Captured wonderful memories of our wedding
We hired Karl for our wedding this October 2022. Karl was super professional and friendly throughout the initial chats and on the day. He really captured the atmosphere of the day. The candid shots he captured made us smile and laugh when looking through them, they are a wonderful memory of the day. The best!
Karl was our wedding photographer and he was absolutely fantastic. We wanted a photographer that would blend in with the group and be able to get candid photos as well as the more traditional shots and he did it perfectly. Dont get too lost in the details and enjoy your day.

A tattooed wedding ring on the day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to discuss what your requirements are and also my working style to make sure we are a good match.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The confetti shot is one of my favourites. You get lots of natural joyous reactions from everyone involved.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A guest running around in a Dead Pool mask.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

There is usually a break in the rain at some point for photos outside but I also find very simple or decorative locations indoors too. The rain never really seems to stop people having a good time so I try to capture the fun and joviality.

Describe how you got into photography.

I started off doing street photography, shooting film and developing in a dark room. Since then photography has always been a major part of my life.
