FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A Lake District wedding - a drawing of the church hidden in the trees, I had to draw the church partly 'blind' so it could be clearly seen.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Beautiful line drawings and watercolours of wedding venues

What about your business are you most proud of?

Each artwork is an original unique creation.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan well ahead but be ready for last minute changes.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I write a personal dedication to the couple at the bottom of the drawing.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Agree, by exchange of images taken by the couple, of the venue - or suggested by me, the most appropriate view of the wedding ceremony venue to be drawn or painted and the wording of the dedication the couple would like. Do they want to have drawn or painted portraits added to the venue artwork? How would they like the picture to be presented, in a mount or a frame? Once decided, the drawing or painting will be made and an image can be sent to the couple before the wedding for approval. Once approved and paid, the picture can be delivered or presented on the wedding day, so it can be displayed at the reception.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A drawing of both couples childhood homes along with the wedding venue.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

The drawing or painting is always prepared well before the wedding day.

Describe how you got into photography.

I studied Illustration at University
