Full Description
So, a little about me first. I have the best job in the world. I love life. I don't take myself too seriously. And I believe you should have fun and enjoy yourself when working (whilst being the consummate professional of course!). As a result my couples and their guests tend to be natural and relaxed around me. We have fun and have one hell of a blast on the day. The process of capturing your wedding photographs should be a really enjoyable experience for you both! I'm based in Hornchurch in Essex I'm a Geordie born and bred and having developed into one of the best known photographers in the North East, I'm now based in Essex where I met the love of my life, Louise, who I married on New Years Eve 2017. I still get up north to shoot weddings every so often and I regularly travel across the UK and the World to shoot weddings. So I don't restrict myself to just Essex and London weddings. I believe in quality over quantity. I'm my own biggest critic. If I'm not happy with an image it doesn't go in. I'm not one of those photographers who promises 800+ images. Typically you can expect to get 300-400 images of quality. No repetition of shot. And a pictorial story of your wedding day from start to the first dance. If the tunes are right, I've been known to get onto the dancefloor with the camera.

What is your most memorable wedding?

I shot a valentines day elopement Gretna Green for a young couple for the USA. It was a beautiful day and it was such a privilege to be part of something so magical

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Creative Fun Chilled No Fuss Unobtrusive

What about your business are you most proud of?

I've spent 15 year building my expertise and I now get to travel the world shooting weddings! I never dreamed I'd get to jump on a plane to do this job!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Book your wedding photographer as soon as you have your date confirmed!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Bride and groom spray painting each other! And then jumping in a fountain!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Chat, chat and more chat. I like to get to know my couples. It helps me get a feel for their style but also puts them at ease with me. We do venue visits, pre wedding shoot and then shoot the big day. After the big day I look after them, working through the images and present them on a stunning USB.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Tough because every couple is different. But for me it's that one shot of the couple totally lost in each other, unaware of everyone around them! I love getting shots like that

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

"Do you mind if we spray paint each other and you photograph us doing it"

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Brollies and a care free attitude!

Describe how you got into photography.

My dad was an amateur photographer. I always wanted to play with his cameras so he brought me my first camera when I was 5. I was hooked from that day!
