What is your most memorable wedding?
A recent wedding at The Rutland Vineyard is so far one of the best weddings I have photographed (and I love all my weddings!). The weather was great, and so was the vineyard after the ceremony. Everyone was happy, and dancing and the couple were so focussed on everyone that they enjoyed their day.
The vineyard was the best place for a wedding, particularly with the summer sun and the copious amount of wine they gave too!

What about your business are you most proud of?
It's fairly simple. Meeting all the wonderful couples and spending the day with them and their families. I love my business because of this.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have everything arranged well in advance! I have photographed many weddings where the couple had booked lots of other suppliers very late on and it was stressful for them.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Every guest was given a goodie bag with the bride and groom's favourite bath/shower essentials and smellies
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once your initial enquiry reaches me, I will come back to you straight away (If I'm not at a wedding, or sleeping!) and I'll gauge whether I'm available, and if I am, some more details about you and your day.
I will arrange a call/video call or visit in person so you can see and hear me.
If you love my work and who I am and you wish to book me, then we'll go through my usual process of deposits (10% by the way), contracts and so on.
Between booking your day, we'll have plenty of chat and possibly a couples photoshoot if you've booked my full-day package.
On the wedding day, I will capture everything on your day from pre through to the first dance, your friends and family and of course, both of you.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A group photo. I love them. Not just a few of your friends (unless your wedding is small), but with EVERYONE. Only recently have I climbed up a pole and tree to take a photo of a massive wedding party - now that was fun!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A simple couple photo with their dogs, but Rutland Water. It was effective and georgous!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas, umbrellas and umbrellas. I also love a couple in wellies too!
Describe how you got into photography.
I started out in sports photography, working for a football team in Peterborough. Since then, I have expanded, slowed down my sports photography, but increased my wedding photography - since doing this in 2021, I have photographed 56 weddings throughout the UK, from small intimate ceremonies, and same-sex weddings to large 3 day weddings!
