Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, Emotive, Fun, Memorable, Timeless.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book your favourite suppliers early! If you have someone in mind, no matter how far in advance you are in the wedding planning stage - just contact your preferred supplier as it’s your best chance to get the people you want!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It’s lovely to see personal touches - and most of the time it can be the ones which are most thoughtful that are the best. One of my brides gave her groom some personalised cuff links, with his Dad and Sister on. I captured this moment in groom prep, as the bride wanted this moment to be remembered. It was such a beautiful moment and he was eternally grateful to his wife to be for getting him something so special, so his Dad and sister would be there with him, walking down the isle in spirit.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to be there for all my couples - for every step of the way!
First our journey will start by having a wedding consultation together - this can be via teams or zoom. Just to get to know each other and make sure that I’m the right photographer for you.
If you’d then like to go ahead and book me, a 20% deposit will need to be paid and booking agreement to be signed, where you will then be in my diary and your date secured.
After this, I very much stay in contact with my couples, offering advice and supplier contacts.
We will then have another video consultation around 4 weeks before the wedding, just to run through the details. If you’d like to book a pre wedding venue visit, this is no problem - it can be added to your package.
Then finally it’s your big day!
I aim to then send my couples sneak peeks within 48 hours of the wedding, and within 8-10 weeks until the final gallery is delivered.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
GOLDEN HOUR. 🧡
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it. Rainy day photos can be so much fun! I come prepared with clear umbrellas for all my weddings, that way you’ll know that if it does rain, I have you covered!
Describe how you got into photography.
Photography has always been super special to me. My grandad kept cameras, and I always think that maybe I got it from him! I definitely think I got my creative side from him anyway!
But I studied photography through college and university, only to fall even more madly in love with it a few years later - where I decided to do launch my photography business, do it full time, and live my dream.
