Image Chameleon Full Description
Hello my name is Simon Phelan and I will provide your wedding photo package as required and written down in a contract with a copy for us both. Prices are fixed once agreed upon, I take 25% as a deposit and of course can accept payments before the big day with any remaining amount due 8 weeks prior. I like to visit and have a chat at your home and will bring along a wedding album of my work and some single framed prints. I supply for every wedding a full set of photos professionally processed by myself to 300dpi in full colour. These photos are supplied on a memory stick, they also come with a second set at social media friendly upload size. Some photos I also process in black and white but always provide these in colour as well. Should you wish for others to be processed in black and white these I will do at no charge. Wedding albums and prints can be purchased when making your initial booking or of course afterwards. Engagement photo shoots are available and for weddings booked over a year in advance these are offered free. The engagement shoot can take place anywhere at anytime suitable to both of us, weather permitting of course. Any rebooking due to weather will not incur a further fee to yourselves. These photos will be to the same standard but provided on a separate memory stick to the wedding photos. Photo albums and prints. I also have personal access to a factory where I print and can provide albums and single prints plus framed or canvas prints. This printing is done by myself and therefore I have absolute control over the end results. Banners up to 5 metres wide and over 40 metres long are available if requested. Image Chameleon have 3 photographers available allowing for complete coverage from the bride getting ready and the groom right up until the last dance. A video service is available, this can be of the whole day or of only segments as wished for. I am able to overlay a different soundtrack if needed to all or parts of the video.

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

Sarah and Sam at the Alverbank Hotel Gosport. Sarah has to be one of the happiest Brides I have ever photographed, always laughing.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Discrete, journalistic, abstract, artistic and a few traditional group shots of course.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Attention to detail plus being early and not leaving until the Bride and groom are happy.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't leave things until the last minute.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The Grooms speech where he says thank you to his new wife.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

First a visit to discuss ideas, if possible a visit to the Church and or venue. I have a list of photos and give one to the best man and an usher to help with the photo order. During the day I have a few chats with the couple to ask if they would like something they hadn't though of before.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A backlit first dance processed to black and white.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

The Bride and her Maids jumping up and down on the bed.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Big umbrellas lots of them, but they need to be all the same, white preferably.

Describe how you got into photography.

Since 8 years old I have had a camera. At a car boot sale I was selling an old film camera. No one wanted the camera but kept asking how much for the photos I had displayed showing what the camera could do. It was then I realised it wasn't the camera but myself that had taken these photos.
