Ian Rolfe Wedding Photography Full Description
It’s the little moments that make your wedding unique… that first glimpse of each other, a touch of a hand, mum’s tears, dad’s dance moves. It’s those moments that you’ll go back to time and again and remember forever. It’s your story that I tell through my photography. I want you to feel the same way about your memories every time you look at your wedding photographs whether it’s tomorrow or in years to come. No awkward poses or cheesy smiles... just genuine, authentic moments beautifully captured to reflect you and your amazing wedding.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to meet with couples either in person or via Skype initially to get an idea of their plans and what they're looking for in their wedding photography. I'm then on hand for any questions before the wedding. On the day I'm very unobtrusive and will capture everything naturally as well as family and couple portraits.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There isn't one! Every wedding is different & every couple is different. It's what is important to you that counts.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

They're all original!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Wellies and a sense of adventure!

Describe how you got into photography.

I started as Television Cameraman working on everything from the London Olympics to Saturday Kitchen. I've always loved photography and won awards for Landscape Photography. The wedding photography grew from a love of capturing weddings naturally without awkward poses.
