Describe your typical process with a couple.
Phone/Email chat followed by a personal meeting so you can meet each other, see albums/portfolios and discuss the wedding day as a whole, not just the photography side. this will help me craft a better all-round experience with our services from start to finish, they are no obligations to commit and are in a relaxed friendly manner. If couples decide to book then a customised contract unique to the couple's requirements is created and will need to be signed with a booking fee to hold their date. The remaining balance will not be due until 2 months before the wedding day and a timesheet and shoot list will be requested before the big day to help me plan my day and organise shoots quicker and smoother.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There is not really just 1 key photo, but I find the walking down the aisle with the farther, 1st look, 1st kiss and 1st dance are all very important key moments to have captured
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I am often asked to add some quirky photos into the mix such as having the wedding parties run towards the camera then superimpose a dino, ghost, alien invasion etc into the background for something fun, quirky and completely different to the normal style of wedding photos.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Coats or throws to wrap around in between photos to keep and dry plus nice umbrellas, that being said I always carry an umbrella with me mostly heart-shaped to use for photos as well.
Describe how you got into photography.
I was a local model with my wife for many years and took up photography as a hobby focusing on fine-art portraits, and then I was asked to do a wedding which went really well so it just went from there.
