Full Description
We love photographing weddings (I'm sure all photographers on here would say the same) and capturing those special moments that will last a lifetime. We capture your day in a friendly, natural and relaxed way. Our website should give you a feel for the kind of images we take. To pop us into a category would be a little tricky however, we're not your average traditional photographers but we are happy to do some formal groups and help out organising things like confetti if you'd like. We are not completely reportage either (with no input at all into your day). I guess we fit somewhere between the two. Our best advise to our potential couples would be to look at lots of different photographers to work out what you think might be the style you're after. Fingers crossed it may be us and that you'll be in touch soon to see if we can help you!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Wow, so many to chose from. I think it's between one of two weddings. The first we photographed at Bury St Edmunds Cathedral followed by their reception at Haughley Park Barn, this was a gorgeous August wedding and everything we hope our weddings will be. A gorgeous couple, lovely friends and family and lots of love and laughter. The speeches especially still make me laugh thinking about them. The second would be when one of our couples took us to New York with them to photograph their intimate wedding. Such a different day with so many new challenges but one we wouldn't have missed for the world. Stunning in every way.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Informal, relaxed, natural, happy and beautiful

What about your business are you most proud of?

That we stay true to our style and don't template, copy others or follow fads that come in and out

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Look around at photographers, try to meet with a few. Once you feel a connection between yourselves and a photographer they are usually the ones perfect for you.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Letters written to each of the guests as to why they were important to the couple as wedding favours, not an expensive thing but so personal and there wasn't a dry eye in the house!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We usually e-mail, speak or meet. Talk about your day in detail, discuss what you'd like and the speak as often as you'd like in the run up to you. We will always speak a few weeks before your day to go over all the details.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A standard full length one of the two of you looking at the camera. Whilst it's never our favourite photo (or yours) we find most of our couples relatives want a photo like this for their walls so it keeps everyone happy by spending just a minute taking it.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

We're not usually asked to take specific photos like this as our couples trust us and our style that we'll capture what we see on the day.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Have a contingency plan in place and think about this when looking at venues .... Ask them where they'd use for group shots, drinks etc on a wet day. Each photographer will work differently. We carry big umbrellas and are happy to photograph out in the rain if you choose to!

Describe how you got into photography.

I've always taken photos since I was little, I worked at a studio for a while but wasn't keen on the restrictive nature of this. I love photographing people and relationships so the natural progression was into wedding photography.
