What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make a list and chip away at it often. There seems like a mountain to climb but bit by bit it'll all come together.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Red Castanets with Chinese writing in for each guest to celebrate a Spanish/Chinese wedding.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Nice natural portrait of just the couple outside their chosen venue on their wedding day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Same-sex couple asked me to take a photo of them with their Smart car. The car wore a bow tie and a top hat.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
White or clear umbrellas for the best light and fewer shadows (and rain) on the faces. But if it does rain, don't worry: rain can add lovely depth to photos with reflections.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have always had a passion for photography. Years ago I worked in care and used to take nice pictures of the children for the parents. They said I should charge for them. When I left care I thought, "Why not?"
