What is your most memorable wedding?
Probably the medieval themed wedding I shot in the Lake District - the bride rode to the church on a horse and the groom and best men all wore full suits of armour!

Hearing that my work and the memories it evokes has made people cry with happiness - pretty amazing.

Do what you want not what is expected of you by other people!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Individual gift bags for each guest with their photos on was pretty impressive.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I find out as much as possible about what the couple wants and what they like - then with that in mind I try as far as possible to blend into the background and simply capture the magical moments in the most stylish and meaningful way possible.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The confetti shot may be a cliché but it's always a winner in my book.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Probably the bride and groom taking their 'first bowl' at a vintage-style wedding in a bowling alley in Scarborough
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I have some funky umbrellas!
Describe how you got into photography.
I first got into photography through a passion for the outdoors - landscape photography remains a passion of mine.
