Gabrielle McMillan Photography Full Description
I work with my couples to understand what they envisage for their wedding day, its so important to me to have an understanding of them as a couple in order fo me to produce photos that are unique and personal to them.
My husband works with me when photographing the weddings this enables us to cover the groom as well as the bride before hand and means we can focus on different things throughout the rest of the day. We have a natural and relaxed photography style. We aim to capture and document all aspects of your day from the beautiful traditions through to the small details that have had your thoughts, time and love poured into them. A wedding is a once in a lifetime event and we are dedicated to producing a collection of images that you will cherish forever.

What is your most memorable wedding?

After graduating with a first class honours degree in Photography and ten years of photographing wonderful people and their weddings I still love me job!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Its your wedding, do what you want to do, and delegate!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The Groom serenading his bride, he didn't have an amazing voice but it was heartfelt and brave...an act of true love!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Its really important to have a good connection with all my couples so meeting them for an initial chat is important. Some couples like to have a pre-wedding shoot which is an additional cost of £75.00 personally I think its a really great thing to do especially if you don't like being in front of the camera, and it gives us another opportunity to chat about their day. I also do a venue visit with my couples a few weeks before the wedding to make sure I have every aspect of their day covered and I know exactly what they envisage. After the wedding day it takes me around four weeks to put the photos together, there are around 600 presented on a usb all printable and shareable in a box with a little gift from me. I also put the images on an on line gallery and Im more then happy to do a blog of wedding highlights. Throughout the whole process I am always contactable and I am always happy to offer advice and help if needed.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I think it depends on the couple
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A sense of humour, umbrella's and wellies, plus a couple of indoor locations perviously sourced by me.
Describe how you got into photography.
Always had the need to document everything photographically from a young age and before social media came about. I did a foundation art course and then went onto a degree in photography and basically spent four years in the dark room developing my films. I graduated with first class honours, then digital photography happened I learnt how to use computer software to edit images rather then the dark room and that was it. I consider myself very lucky to have had such a wonderful eduction doing something I love and now make a living out of.
