Highly recommend!

h is such a great photographer but also a lovely person, he is relaxed and friendly and someone you can easily have a chat with. He’s really patient especially as our children were not playing ball. He managed to capture every part of our day and we got a huge amount of photos afterwards! He was really easy to get along with and so good at making suggestions on what we should do for a great shot. We have not long got our photos back and I am so shocked at some of the photos he managed to capture those moments that no one sees but those memories are captured forever. I would highly recommend ash at First Light Photography to anyone considering booking him, you will not regret it and your wedding photos will be fabulous. The best photographer ever!

We booked Ash for our wedding in October after a video call with him to chat about what we wanted and how he worked. From the first conversation we gelled with Ash immediately and found him to be warm and easy to get along with. His website showed his great talent and we were excited for him to capture our day. In the lead to our wedding Ash was great at answering our questions and even organised a videographer for us. On the day Ash was a calming presence, capturing all our special moment’s without feeling intrusive. He made sure we got the shots we wanted and he had picked out areas of the venue that he thought would make for stunning photos. He did not make us pose endlessly and the photos felt very natural. He has captured some incredible shots and we love every one of our photos. We’ve had numerous compliments about how amazing our photos are. We would definitely recommend Ash for your wedding, it will be one of the best decisions you make for your special day.

Best Wedding investment we made

Ash was fantastic. His style of work and his end result are magnificent, the way he blended in and got to work made it feel like we invited just another guest. He was top notch, completely relaxed, and was able to capture the day perfectly. There are pictures I look back on and am amazed as I didn’t even notice Ash there capturing the moment! All communication was kind and friendly, and Ash had our first look ready not even a day later, with the full album ready 2 days after. I can’t recommend Ash enough, a perfect addition to your perfect day.

Amazing Photography

Ash at First Light Photography is professional, passionate and very client orientated! He photographed my husband and I’s wedding and the pictures are flawless. We were both shocked at how amazingly he managed to capture special moments, our love and the laughter of our guests. 10/10 photographer we love ash

You can tell that ash loves what he does as it really shows in his work. The pictures were incredible and captured the day perfectly, nothing was too much for him and he didn’t mind all the different styles of couples photos I wanted too.- also didn’t mind my super bossy maid of honour! I honestly don't know where to begin. Ash was an absolute diamond from start to finish. He was so welcoming, professional, and friendly. What is your most memorable wedding?

My most memorable wedding must be at the beautiful subtropical gardens in weymouth

The day was so hot and the venue was just so beautiful there was so many spots for great photos.

They had a great laugh all day and was doing backflips on a bouncy castle .

Hog roast for the evening and some lovely golden hour photos .

The couple fit the venue so we'll and it was just an amazing day

If your trying to save money on your wedding don't save money on a photographer book one for the style you like there is alot of other things you can save money on but photography isn't one of these .

Iv seen lots of couples regret paying for a cheap photographer instead of booking who they really wanted

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Letters to each guest hand written and personal to each guest

Confetti shot

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Less group photos or smaller group pics for inside

Either let's go out get soaked and get some unique pics or stay inside and get some different shots

Describe how you got into photography.

Use to wake up at 4am to take photos of sunrises .

A lady who loved my work was getting married and wanted me even tho I had never done it then she loved the photos and then another wanted me and it snowballed
