What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Outside church after the ceremony celebrating on their own with a kiss. It is also so important to photograph grandparents and parents... life is short and these moments are so precious.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The groom was a rugby player and wanted his bride to catch a shot in the air of him throwing the rugby ball, he wanted the best man to hold her up. Problem was her arms were tight in her dress so the ball would have headed directly to her nose.... I decided to photograph the sequence as two shots to prevent a broken nose! It was though great fun.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Get outside and have great fun with umbrellas, off-camera flash and the rain! (bring some wedding wellies or converse to wear under your dress.. no-one will ever know)
Describe how you got into photography.
I blame my father.
