Photography Style

Full Description
My style of wedding photography incorporates a mix of lifestyle, fashion and traditional photography themes which tell the story of your wedding day. I approach my photography in a fun way working closely together with you so that we can capture the spirit, life and joy of your day. Most of the images I take are candid I don’t pose shots too much, my natural approach makes the experience more enjoyable for you. Documenting life is my passion, every wedding is photographed and edited by myself. I love to travel and have photographed weddings in the UK, Europe and beyond. I’d love to get to know you and discuss your wedding day.

He did an exceptional job
Hamish took pictures at our wedding in London on the 6th of April 2015. He did an exceptional job, and managed to capture all of us in the most perfect moments, the special moments, that you don't even notice, but are so special to look back on. he managed to take incredible pictures, and was never 'in the way'. I would recommend him again and again and again.

We were thrilled with our pictures
From the minute we met Hamish, we felt at ease (and neither of us like being photographed!). So many of our friends and family remarked on the subtle and unobtrusive style of photography. We were thrilled with our pictures and think we got the best deal of anyone that we know. Hamish came highly recommended and we are really pleased that we chose the services of Eternal Imaging for our special day.

I couldn't recommend them highly enough
Hamish from Eternal Imaging was great! He was accommodating to our needs and wishes, and offered us a very reasonable price to shoot our wedding ceremony. On this own accord, he came to our ceremony rehearsal to prepare and scope out places to stand and shoot, and spent a lot of time with us talking about the types of shots we wanted. On the day he blended in well with the guests and took a lot of great candid shots, as well as the more traditional ceremonial shots and poses. Working in difficult conditions, with the sun going down and light rain, he was calm, patient and efficient. The pictures were ready about two weeks after. Hamish kindly met me in central London and handed over the pictures personally, as we were leaving the country the next day and wanted to take the pictures with us. I can't imagine many others offering to do the same! The pictures themselves were everything we wanted. Hamish is a properly trained, professional photographer, and it shows. The pictures are delivered on a USB stick with colour and black-and-white versions of each picture. Eternal Imaging can sell you prints and albums, but you always get the full resolution files to keep as well. Don't underestimate the importance of this: They are your pictures, and you can do whatever you want with them: print them yourself, put them online, give them to anyone you want. Many studios jealously guard the negatives or original files, forcing you to come back to them and pay each time you want prints, and leaving you stuck if they should lose the files or go out of business. With Eternal Imaging, we felt complete comfortable and in control. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We would highly recommend Hamish
Hamish was a fantastic photographer at our 2012 wedding. The whole process of selecting a photographer, through to the big day in Italy was managed simply and effectively once we booked with Hamish. Hamish managed to blend in with our guests and took some magical photos for us to always remember our perfect day and evening We would highly recommend Hamish and Eternal Imaging day after day! Very happy

You and Your Wedding

What is your most memorable wedding?

A wedding I shot in Las Vegas! It was 43 degrees on the wedding day and I wore a full suit, I nearly melted :/

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Beautiful, timeless, easy, fun, enjoyable

What about your business are you most proud of?

I like how my photographs tell a story, good wedding photography should always tell the full story of the day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Always add more time to each section of the day than you would ideally need, most weddings overrun!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Guests writing messages on hundreds of tags hanging from a line of trees!

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Walking towards the camera hand in hand :)

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

White umbrellas, if they are black umbrellas it's not ideal for photography because the people vanish in the shadow :/

Describe how you got into photography.

I studied photography at college for two years, in 2006 my friend asked me to photography his wedding which was my first!
