Photography is not only my work but also my passion and my hobby. I am never without my camera and I feel extremely lucky to be able to make my passion my career.
I have a background in hospitality and I love to see people enjoying themselves. I am also a true romantic. Therefore photographing weddings is a true joy.
I believe that the best photographs are taken when people are relaxed and having fun and that it is important that you build a good rapport with your clients because you want them to feel comfortable. After all they are trusting you with the most important day of their lives.
My clients frequently comment on my friendly and relaxed approach and my ability to put couples and their guests at their ease. I believe that it is this which sets me apart from other wedding photographers.
For me preparation is everything and I invest a lot of time with couples before the wedding, meeting with them to discuss their vision for the wedding and the type of photographs they desire. Wherever possible I also visit the venue before the wedding. This ensures that I am familiar with the venue on the day and can pick the best locations for the formal shots.
I find that most of my couples want a mix of traditional shots (e.g. bride and bridesmaids, groom and groomsmen etc) and informal candid shots taken throughout the day. However, my clients are king and therefore I am happy to undertake any shots which the couple desires.
