What is your most memorable wedding?
Every Wedding is different and they should be! I have shot weddings in the intimacy of someones home to massive Country manors, its the couples that make the day amazing
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Bright Candid Artistic Fun Different
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our reviews and feedback and the personal relationships I develop with our customers is amazing! its what makes me do what I do! I also love the attention to detail that is put in to every booking from Your own online booking Portal where you can check every aspect of the booking process to the final delivery of images to you.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Are they busy? Do they post new work on social media, websites frequently? Also ask to look at previous clients gallery's. An active photographer is a busy photographer, and that brings experience for every eventuality rain or shine and also some amazing creative images and ideas. They will know what’s happening before you do. This may be the first time you have done something like this but for a good photographer it may be there 500th.
Do they have great reviews! It takes time and effort to leave a review and only truly happy customers will go that extra mile and sing the photographers praises these truly represent how good someone is, and if they do not have many reviews that can be something to take in to consideration.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Love, A wedding full of love will always look amazing no matter what the venue and the bride and groom are the centre of that
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From the initial inquiry I will end ever to deliver a full quote with a breakdown of everything included within 24 hours. this will be on your own online portal so you can view it, accept it and pay the initial payment all in one place. and check back any time you wish, after that you will receive a questionnaire that I will use as my bible for the big day! I also keep a hard copy on file incase anything should ever happen to the online system. I will hold an informal meeting with you both just before your big day so I can get any last min changes and im then able to capture everything and more
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Family! we are not only capturing your wedding we are also capturing history in the making! And family is a massive part of that. how often do you manage to get all of your loved ones and friends in one place?
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A Brick!!! The lovely couple met when they crashed in to a wall... as a wedding gift the groom gave his bride a brick from that wall as a token of how they met. So I couldn't help myself but take a picture of the wedding rings on the brick so everything was combined. The couple loved it
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Rain mehh! it's not that bad. It's part of your day so I embrace it when we can. I have Special umbrellas always on my kit so we can still shoot and not get wet if needed, or a beautiful backlit photograph of you both running in a rain shower is so much fun and looks amazing! depending on your venue we can use windows stairways whatever we can to get the shots you need. and nothing stops us going back on a dry day to get the shots you really want
Describe how you got into photography.
As a Busy Father for Triplets and twins I have always taken pictures but from the age of 7 I was a pageboy at a wedding as a gift I was given a 110 format camera (that I still have in my collection) from that day I was hooked at the magic of being able to freeze a moment in time forever, I have been shooting professionally for over 28 years and I still love it every day
