You want beautiful wedding photos. You’d also quite like to enjoy your wedding, have a drink, hug your favourite people and eat the canapés you spent ages choosing. I’m very much on board with that.
I’m Dominika, an Essex-based wedding photographer with a relaxed approach, a cheeky sense of humour and just enough Polish bossiness to get the family photos done before someone escapes to the bar.
I photograph weddings across Essex, Kent, Surrey and further afield in the UK and Europe. From intimate ceremonies to packed dance floors, I capture the people, atmosphere and little moments that make the day yours.
Beautiful photos, without the awkwardness
If you’re thinking “we’re rubbish in front of the camera”, you’re exactly who I’m used to photographing. You don’t need to practise poses or know what to do with your hands—that’s my department.
I’ll guide you through relaxed portraits, organise the family photos and capture the rest as it unfolds. The proud parents, happy tears, ridiculous laughter and dance moves that deserve photographic evidence.
Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot. We’ll make time for lovely portraits without keeping you away from your guests for ages.
RUBY 4 hours | £599
Perfect for smaller weddings, registry office ceremonies and intimate celebrations. We’ll plan your coverage around your priorities, whether that’s the ceremony, family photos, couple portraits or the beginning of the party. Shorter coverage, with the same care and attention.
EMERALD 6 hours | £899
A lovely middle ground for couples who want more of the story. Depending on your timings, this could cover final preparations through to the drinks reception, or the ceremony through to speeches. More time for candid moments, the details you’ve chosen and your favourite people enjoying themselves.
SAPPHIRE Full day, up to 10 hours | £1,299
From the getting-ready excitement to around 30 minutes after your first dance, this captures the story of your day. The anticipation, confetti chaos, emotional speeches and celebrations - alongside the quiet hugs and little moments you might miss while you’re busy getting married.
For couples who want to look back and remember how the whole day felt.
Every package includes a pre-wedding consultation, professionally edited photographs and a private online gallery to download and share your memories.
Your day, your coverage
Need something different? I’m happy to create a tailored quote, whether you’re planning a shorter celebration, need extra hours or would like a second photographer to capture more of the day.
Travel within 50 miles of my Essex base is included. Any additional travel or accommodation costs will be clearly explained before booking.
Engagement shoots
Wedding couples can add an engagement shoot at a reduced price. Think of it as a date with a photographer tagging along - a chance to have a laugh, get comfortable with how I work and discover that having your photo taken can actually be enjoyable.
You’ll also have lovely photographs for invitations, your wedding website or your walls.
Bridal boudoir
Through my women-only brand, Dominika Noir, I offer bridal boudoir sessions: a personal gift for your partner, a confidence boost or simply something special for yourself.
Every session is private, relaxed and fully guided. You decide how much skin you’re comfortable showing, and nothing is shared without your permission. No modelling experience needed, and nervous giggles are absolutely welcome.
Let’s see if we click
You’ll spend a fair bit of your wedding day with your photographer, so liking the person behind the camera matters.
If you’d love natural photographs, plenty of laughter and someone who can calmly get things done, send me your date, venue and a little about your plans. We’ll arrange a video call and see if we click. Camera pun entirely intended.
One where groom forgot his trousers and had to get back up, so he disappeared until 45mins before the ceremony. The bride knew nothing about it!
natural, fresh, candid, relaxed, documentary
I'mm proud of being myself and doing what I love.
Don't follow the trend. Just thing about what makes you happy and go with it.
7 year old step son wrote a speech to his step mom. I cry every time I think about it.
After the initial message I book a video call, we have a chat, get to know me, I get to know you. If we think we have a good vibe and you guys want to go ahead, I draw the contract. At the time of signing your contract you pay your deposited we're all set. We stay in contact, but about 1month before the wedding I send you a questioner, so I can create my work time line and shot list. We can also arrange another quick video call around that time, just to catch up, to see how are you doing. Next step - your big day!
My unpopular opinion - There isn't one. It's not one fits all. But one thing I would say, a few formal photos of a wedding couple is a must! :)
Most original was when the guests wanted to take photos of me with my own camera.
Just go with it! Umbrellas or not, just enjoy every moment of it!
My fiancé bought me a camera as a Christmas present and then I started shooting portraits. I loved photographing people. It took me few years to set out my comfort zone and give it a go with weddings. Now I absolutely love every moment of it. From first call, through engagement shoot, wedding day and being there for you. Documenting your emotions and details and just being there for you.
