Dave Brownlee Photography Full Description
After an enquiry I am more than happy to meet you and answer any questions you may have. If that meeting is successful and you'd like to work with me I will send you a contract. We will arrange a free pre wedding shoot at a time convenient to you and not only will you get some lovely images of the two of you but you will also feel a lot more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera which will make shooting on the day a much more fun experience. I will visit the venue beforehand and come up with hopefully some unique shots just for you. The Hi-Res photos will be delivered in a USB box and you are free to print as many as you wish. There are no hidden extras to surprise you afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions
(8)

What is your most memorable wedding?

The Anglican Cathedral in The Lady Chapel. Just a dream to shoot in such a magnificent building.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

fun, creative, candid, reportage, relaxed

What about your business are you most proud of?

That since 2007 helping as a second shooter to an established wedding photographer I've managed to not only create my own business but still not think of it as a job. it's always an absolute pleasure each wedding day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do what you want to do. Get a DJ that will play the music you want. Don't worry about pleasing everyone else. It's your day and most of all have fun.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I'll work with my couples all the way, show them my ideas and work together to get all the shots they want. I've done a lot of weddings and although not all the same I do have tips to make the day flow so everyone has a good time.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The formal/informal shots of just the two of you. Always find time to do those.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Big umbrellas and leave the high heels at the venue. Sometimes the rain can add an extra dimension to the day and I'll always have a back up plan.

Describe how you got into photography.

Hobbyist, doing street photography then met a wedding photographer who invited me to join him. Within a year I was shooting my own weddings. Never looked back.
