What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding is truly memorable in its own right, but I guess the most memorable are those where the bride and groom are relaxed and have lots of fun!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Documentary, non-intrusive, Traditional, Professional, Relaxed
What about your business are you most proud of?
Excellence at an affordable price.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
A few things may go wrong on the day. Maybe the best man drops the rings in a vase of flowers, or the flower girl refuses to part with her petals. But that's fine; these are things which cause laughter and fun and which can make your wedding even more memorable. So don't worry!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Every wedding has its own personal touches, but I did like the owl delivering the rings in the church.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First I will meet with you well before the actual day, to discuss your requirements and the format of the occasion along with poses. If you are not yet quite sure what you want, that's fine; we can talk about that.
On the wedding day I will cover any or all of the proceedings, depending on what you want.
We can include the bride’s preparations, then moving onto the actual ceremony, then the reception and then any evening event that you may have planned.
I will produce several hundred digital images. Then within a few days I will go through each image and pick out those which I think best tell the story of your wedding. I will then digitally process those images and give them to you.
Then we can discuss which if any you would like printed out and/or put in an album.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Of course a stunning photograph of the Bride and Groom only. You will want this one printed out in large size and framed for your wall.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
There have been so many! But the rainbow background to the First Dance stands out I guess.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
We will photograph the guests under cover. But the Bride and Groom can go back to the venue with me at a later date and we'll do the photoshoot again. Free of charge. (It only seems fair after all).
What we will NOT do is ignore the rain, get the bride and groom soaked, and ruin the rest of their day.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have been taking photographs for many years and I love it as much now as when I started, and I am always learning new techniques and skills. The job of photographer holds many responsibilities and it is always challenging and demanding while at the same time being a lot of fun and a highly social activity.
