What is your most memorable wedding?
I've shot too many beautiful and memorable days to narrow them down to just one!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Colourful, creative, cinematic, emotive, joyful.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Giving couples a lasting, artful memoir through photographs is a joy. Knowing their images will be passed down through the generations of their family and treasured for years to come is a privilege.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember that a wedding is supposed to be a celebration, so fill it with the things that give you joy, and don't be scared to cut out the things that don't.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I aim to get back to your initial enquiry within 48 hours, and if I'm available, I'd love to arrange a quick, no obligation call with you to discuss your day in more details and hopefully answer any questions you may have. If you'd like to book, I take a £400 booking fee to secure your date, but it's not an extra charge and simply goes towards the final balance due no later than 2 weeks before your wedding. We can have as many planning calls prior to your big day as you need, and I'll keep you updated during the post-production phase too. Completed galleries are normally sent within 8 weeks of your wedding date.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I'm a big believer that there's no rules for what you should and shouldn't do on your wedding day, so please take this as only my humble opinion! But the shots I always love to capture on a wedding day is the confetti throw or the champagne pop! Does it get more celebratory!? They're fun, they're unpredictable, and everyone can get involved.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I'll let you take the lead on this, so embrace as much or as little of the weather as you feel comfortable with. Having access to natural light is always the best option for your photos, but whether this is captured by venturing out into a torrential down pour, or from the dry safety of your venue's window, that's entirely your call. I'm an all weather photographer, but I'm not pushy, so if it's raining, you set the limits.
