Christopher Gowar is a passionate photographer who captures emotional and heartfelt moments so that they can be cherished for many years. His style is natural and documentary and he approaches the day unobtrusively to photograph in the most genuine manner possible.
His packages are designed to suit a couples needs and include full day and half day coverage, to more intimate engagement shoots.
How far in advance should I contact you?
The more time we have, the better the preparation to allow us to discuss and plan in more detail your wedding. However, you may reach out whenever you like.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I cover all over the UK.
What is the charge for travelling?
For inside the UK, I don't charge for travel and accommodation. For Scotland there is an added fee.
How do you charge extra time?
My packages are not time constricted, and are flexible to make sure that I capture what we've planned. If there is a desire for me to be there for an extended period this can be added on.
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No, I like to dedicate all my effort and focus on one particular event at a time so that I'm fully dedicated to each couple.
How do you work?
My documentary approach is relaxed with the aim of capturing the events and moments naturally. I blend in during the day and manage formals efficiently
Are you fully insured?
Yes, all my equipment is fully insured and I am covered by public liability and indemnity insurance.
How do we receive and view the images?
All images are placed onto a private gallery that is password protected. The gallery allows you to view and download the images freely. The gallery is sent exclusively to you, and you may share it with whoever you like.
How long after the wedding do we get to see the photos?
I send out the fully completed gallery in 4 weeks, though this depends on the event. For smaller, intimate weddings, it can take closer to two weeks.
How do we secure the date?
To reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and non-refundable booking fee are required. The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to your wedding.
