What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My biggest piece of advice that I took away from my own wedding day was to not sweat the small stuff! Building up to your wedding day you want to plan every small detail to make sure that everything is perfect but when the day arrives, it all goes out of the window. All that matters is having a good day filled with love and happiness. I didn't even care about my wedding cake, I could of easily not even had one because I was so caught up in being around everyone I loved and just having an amazing time. The photo booth turned up and I had totally forgot that they were coming, my second dress broke as soon as I put it on, and absolutely none of it mattered on the day, it was the best day ever just being surrounded with so many happy vibes!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will meet my couple for the first time at their complimentary pre-wedding photoshoot where we will go for a walk, chat about the day and get them used to being in front of the camera. This perfectly sets us up for their wedding day where they will be feeling much more relaxed. I am happy to keep in touch up until the day, I love to know all about their wedding plans and how I can capture everything they have dreamed of.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A photo of just them two! Please please put aside time on your day to go for a little wander with your photographer to capture sweet little moments of just the two of you as husband and wife. It's often the only time during the day where you will be able to escape the madness of it all and take it all in.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
If you can, brave the rain and grab an umbrella so we can grab some shots of you and your partner. HOWEVER, inside shots are always possible, have a scout around the venue before your wedding day and ask what options are available if it's raining.
Describe how you got into photography.
I started photography journey 8 years ago when I was bought my first camera as a Christmas present, since then I have completed study at college and university and following university I became a full time photographer and opened my own photography studio straight away.
