What is your most memorable wedding?
Our first ever wedding. It was a rushed affair as the brides mother was really ill - she didn't have long left and the whole wedding was put together within a month or so with the goal to get the mother of the bride there. Unfortunately on the morning she was too ill - so we held a ceremony at the venue and then myself, the photographer, the bride/groom and other ceremonial participants traveled to the hopsice and held a second ceremony in the hospice room where the MOTB was staying.
The photographers said to me that i'd never forget my first wedding, and I definitely won't ... the MOTB passed away the following teatime.
As heartbreaking as the circumstances were - I was able to capture some beautifully delicate footage of the hospice ceremony - something the bride has told me is priceless to her - and we as a collective made sure that the brides mother was a part of the wedding then, and now eternally in the photos and videos we captured - a beautiful thought for me.

What about your business are you most proud of?
At the time of writing this, I have shot over 225 weddings worldwide in the UK, USA, Holland, Italy & Greece ...
To be able to create imagery in my styie that I really love and I really enjoy personally, and then have hundreds of couples appreciate that and want that for their wedding too is something that I am so so happy about and so so proud of. My work is my art and to be able to share that and help people capture their most precious memories is an absolute blessing and an absolute dream for me.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It might sound biased! ... but please give as much prominence to a wedding film as your photographs.
Photos are the age old way of remembering a moment - but in the current time, with video, you can relive not just the way something looked - but the way it sounded ... the echo in the church or the cry of the child during the ceremony when the mother or father has to run out the side door with them. Video strikes more senses and for that reason we always create a feature length film, not just a highlight film set to music, so that you can not only see - but hear ... and in turn feel how the day felt!
Video is up there with photography, venue, dress - everything - and if you don't decide to book with us ... please make sure you do book ceremony and speech inclusive videography elsewhere!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are so many beautiful moments and touches at each wedding - anything personal hits the heart strings we'd say! ... so when you're looking for the first dance song and Ed Sheeran - Perfect comes to mind (which is a beautiful song! no question) if it isnt personal to you ... go for one that is!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We can have a relaxed chat either via email / facebook messenger / phonecall and go through the package and pricing info - the 50/50 payment plan - your thoughts and wishes for the day - our style - everything!
We don't often meet a couple face to face as we cover the whole UK and distance of course is an issue alot of the time - but if you really want to we can certainly arrange something!
Once we've been through everything you can take your time to decide!
If you would like to book with us, we send you over our contract and get some basic info and a signature from you - we ask for a 10% deposit of the package total on booking to secure the date and then the remainder can be paid in installments or in full at any time before or on the day itself! (There is also a further 10% discount for payment in full on booking!)
We also offer a 50/50 payment option where you can pay half of the total before the wedding for the filming aspect - and then the other half after the wedding when it is affordable for you for the editing aspect - Once the full payment is complete we will complete and deliver your wedding film/photos & extras.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There will be hundreds of candid shots throughout the day, so my personal favourite photographs to capture are the more dramatic, cinematic ones - the beautiful sunset shot or the drone shots from the skies! - It's your wedding day ... you're a pair of rock stars ... let's get them epic shots!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I shot a gothic wedding in Lincoln and the couple were huge fans of the American Gothic painting, so we recreated the shot (including the pitchfork!) in front of Lincoln Catherdral! ... very unique and a lot of fun!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
If its sunny, raining, snowing ... it doesn't matter! ... we'll find somewhere indoors or outdoors to capture the moments we need to capture and sometimes more adverse weather conditions can make for even better photographs - embrace it all!
Describe how you got into photography.
I come from a film/video background and began filming weddings originally - a lot of the skills transfer over directly from film to photo and after a while I got so many requests for photography that I began to offer it as a service too and now the two services bounce off each other extremely well - the alternation keeps everything fresh and different for us and enables us to tell the stories of the weddings we capture in both film and image!
