Before becoming a full-time wedding photographer, Roxy spent ten years as a midwife. This experience gave her a deep appreciation for life’s most precious moments and a calm, reassuring presence that helps couples feel at ease. Having lost her own mother young, Roxy understands how priceless photographs are, and she channels that passion into creating genuine, emotional images that stay true to you.

What is your photography style?
Natural, emotional and full of personality. I love capturing the moments that happen without you even realising I’m there, alongside relaxed, gently guided portraits when you want them. Think real laughs, happy tears, big hugs, beautiful light and all the little in-between moments that make your wedding yours.
Will we have to spend hours taking photographs?
Nope! But... in my experience you might actually enjoy having a little break from the madness more than you think.
Your wedding day can be a bit of a whirlwind, so I love giving you some time together, away from everyone else, to actually take a breath, have a chat and soak it all in. It’s often one of the only chances you’ll get to properly be together during the day.
Couples' photographs are a really important part of my approach, so I will absolutely make time for them – but I won’t keep you away from your guests for ages. I’ll gently guide you through some beautiful, relaxed photographs, make the most of the light and then get you back to the celebrations.
And honestly? Most couples tell me afterwards that their little bit of time together was one of their favourite parts of the day. ❤️
We’re really awkward in front of the camera – can you help?
YES. 😂 And honestly, most people tell me this!
You don't need to know what to do, how to pose or where to put your hands. That’s my job. I’ll give you enough direction that you never feel lost, but I won’t turn you into two people pretending to be models.
By the end of the day, you’ll probably wonder why you were ever worried about it.
Do you photograph group shots?
Of course! I know family photographs aren't necessarily the most exciting part of your day, but they matter.
I’ll help you create a sensible list beforehand so we can get through them quickly without disappearing for an hour. Then we can get back to the hugs, champagne and dancing!
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I’m based near Peterborough and photograph weddings throughout Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, London and beyond.
