FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Nicky & Danny at Bothwell Bridge, an amazing couple that smiled and laughed through the whole day.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, personal, flexible, professional, reliable

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being unique, being able to tailor my service directly to fit my customers

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Never forget it's YOUR DAY. Maintain ownership of it throughout the whole planning process

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

One couple had their rings delivered by their pet dog. Another couple took time out of their day to visit pensioners in the care home that the groom worked in, tears all round in that one.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

The minute you book, I'm working for you. I like to arrange a pre wedding "walk through" of your venues to get a good feel for what you want. Thereafter it is down to how the couple want to progress, album? USB? Online preview?

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

I'd recommend that every couple takes a little time alone with their photographer to get that shot in the can that captures the day for them.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Either embrace the weather or stay indoors. The latter means choosing a really good flexible venue. Plenty of space and places to get images without too much disruption.

Describe how you got into photography.

I was interested while at school, my first job at 16 years old was at a local photographers... I worked in the darkroom... I shot my first big wedding at the age of 17.... I've been learning ever since.
