Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Honest, fun-filled, artistic, modern, colourful
What about your business are you most proud of?
My client feedback - I endeavour to provide the best service and standard of photography possible and it is very rewarding to have happy clients.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Find suppliers that you love - don't settle.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A bestman learnt how to play the piano to surprise the happy couple and personally perform their first dance music. It was very touching to watch!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typically a couple enquires regarding my availability and pricing for their date and we may have a phone consultation or meet in Bristol to discuss any queries that they have. Following completing my booking form and securing their date, we typically have a pre-wedding catch up once all their final details are in place. Following the big day, a couple receives their photographs within 2 - 4 weeks.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
First glimpses of eachother down the aisle. The emotions and expressions are beautiful.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Drone photography of a couple walking through a golden rapeseed field.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace the great British weather! It's the one thing that can't be controlled. There are beautiful photographs to be had indoors plus a rainy day can deliver dramatic light as weather fronts change. Bring an umbrella and we can still create stunning photographs.
Describe how you got into photography.
Beginning with GCSE Art, I progressed to A Level Photography and my first job shooting for newspapers aged 17. This photojournalist experience developed in to a career working for national publications and PR clients in London. Following winning The Picture Editors' Guild UK Young Photographer of the Year in 2012, I relocated to the West Country and set up my own photography business. Since this time I have shot hundreds of weddings and continue serving commercial PR clients.
