2 photographers, full day photography from bridal prep to cake cutting, first dance and beyond. Video and photo booths are additional services which can be added. Depending on location we can add elevated shots with drone (CAA licensed pilot) or pole.

We are father-and-son photographers specialising in weddings. Our unique approach means you always get a mix of formal and the increasingly popular style of candid photos. One of our biggest tips when booking a photographer is make sure you're comfortable with your photographer as you will spend a large portion of your day with him/her/them. Because of this we include a free engagement shoot when you book with us! This allows us to have a chat and have some fun before your big day! We would love to be part of your special day! We have three packages: Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond. If none of these fit your day get in touch so we can build a bespoke package for you. We also offer videography too - highlight and full videos so you can relive your day over and over again. Some of the videos can be seen on our YouTube channel. We also have many extras such as a Photo Booth, Drones, albums and a female photographer. New for 2024 we will be adding Content Creation as an additional service. Watch this space. So we are fully equipped to meet your needs!

Amazing photographers

We originally chose Awaken images as they had a great package at a great price then we looked through their gallery and their work was great too. Amazing!! However the main reasons they stand out and I would recommend them to anyone is their ability to put you at ease on your special day, their communication through the whole process and obviously their photography skills!! Beautiful images and friendly photographers

Matt and John were the perfect photographers at our recent wedding. Not afraid to socialise and direct guests, but friendly and approachable. They were subtle in taking shots of the ceremony and reception, and personable when taking more intimate couple shots. Throughout the planning process they were always on hand for questions, and took a real interest in the day. Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely superb.

They were fantastic from the get go. They bent over backwards to ensure my wife and I had a fantastic day and that everything was captured. Matt and John were incredible! There are no words to thank them for being part of our wedding day. From start to finish they were dedicated, patient, organised and went above and beyond for us. We also hired their glitterbooth which went down very well with all the evening guests. We already know from the previews we have seen that the photos are going to be outstanding. We couldn’t recommend these guys enough and we know we picked the perfect photographers for the job. What is your most memorable wedding?

There are so many, BUT one which sticks in the mind is one where the wedding reception was near to the couples "local". They wanted "to go for a pint", so after the romantic pictures we went to the pub with just the happy couple and shared a pint with them as if we were good friends and had known them for ages.

Relaxed, unobtrusive, documentary, natural, fun

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Pre-wedding shoot. Get to know your photographer and their style. Your photographer is going to spend most of the day with you, so the more comfortable you are the better the images will be.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Following the initial enquiry we like to have a zoom call to discuss the day and so the couple can get to know us and vice versa. All our full day packages include a free pre-wedding or anniversary shoot so if the pre-wedding shoot is selected we will arrange that shoot which allows the couple to get to know us, our style and to feel comfortable in front of the camera. We send out T&Cs and questionnaire once the couple book with us. About 2/3 weeks before the big day we meet with the couple/have a zoom call to discuss the day, shot list etc...

Wedding rings on the couples young baby's toes, pre ceremony. Adorable.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Take the images inside or use umbrellas. They make great props.
