Friendly and supportive from the start to finish
It was an absolute pleasure to have Andy as our wedding photographer. He was very friendly and supportive from the start to the end of the process and even gave us a pre-wedding shoot to make the whole process more natural for us. He was very receptive to what we wanted on the day and wasn’t pushy in any way. He helped us feel totally at ease and captured our day beautifully. We have a great mix of group photos and candid shots and our album is a great story of the day! Thank you very much!

He captures the emotion in the moment
My wife and I were absolutely blown away by Andy from start to finish. He has a unique way of putting you at ease while in front of the camera and the quality of his work left us awestruck. The way he captures the emotion in the moment is truly special. He was an absolute gentleman to work with, all of our wedding guests commented on how much they liked him. Nothing was too much. We honestly couldn't recommend him enough.

Professional, courteous, easy to get along with
We are both so glad we chose Andy for our wedding. The quality of his photographs speak for themselves, but what really made Andy stand out was that he was professional, courteous, and easy to get along with from start to finish. He helped us plan what we wanted beforehand, kept things moving on the day, and managed to get creative with some remarkable shots. Importantly, Andy was well liked by our wedding guests, with several of them commenting on how friendly and talented he was. 5 stars.

He made us so comfortable in front of the camera
I could not say enough wonderful things about Andy. He took two very awkward people and made us so comfortable in front of the camera. I treasure my photos so much. Andy is a wonderful photographer and an amazing person. I would recommend him 100 times over.

Fantastic, professional
Andy was fantastic, professional and had a great sense of humour ( something very important for attending a Scottish wedding 🤣) He was very attentive with listening to what we wanted, as well as suggesting ideas and shots for us. I've attached a photo as an example that he came up with for my grooms party shot, which was AMAZINGLY COOL! So if you want a professional photographer, who is easy to work with and will get brilliant shots, Andy's your man.

An absolute pleasure to work with
Andy was our photographer for our wedding and reception based in Aberdeenshire over the summer '24 and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Clear communication throughout the planning was a godsend. Andy got to know us ahead of the big days and understood our personalities from the geto go (and the assignment)! Worked with us creatively to get the shots we wanted as well as capturing the most beautiful candid shots too. It was really was great having Andy as part of our day. Completely under

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I don't have one that sticks out particularly but I have enjoyed shooting weddings in remote locations.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Candid | Reportage | Natural | Unposed | Memorable

What about your business are you most proud of?

My progression for sure. I love learning new techniques and gaining a better understanding of how to make weddings memorable for the couples.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Prioritise your budget towards the aspects of your day that REALLY matter and you will look back on and be glad of. Too many times couples stress over the things that will mean nothing years down the line. Your photos will be one of the few things you will have for years and years to come so consider this when budgeting.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Can't say I have a stand out memory of personal touches. Every wedding is special and unique to the couple.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After the initial enquiry from the couple I will encourage to meet online via a Zoom call or in person to discuss their plans in more detail. I find this gives couples a great opportunity to ask questions whilst also getting an idea of me as a person. This is something that I think is hugely important when choosing a photographer; being sure you're not just happy with their style of work but that you feel comfortable with them - after all, their going to be with you fo the majority of your big day.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Elderly relatives. They won't be around forever and your wedding day may be one of the few chances you have to get a photo with that special person.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I had a couple who wanted a photo with them in a field with Highland Cows...we did it! Mooooooooo!!!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas!! I have the equipment and experience to ensure we still get some stunning photos even in the rain.

Describe how you got into photography.

My Dad used to have a camera and would show us slides of family outings. I am a memory maker and love being able to see photos from years gone bye.
