Andrew Russell Photography Full Description
I am extremely easy going, friendly and flexible. I will capture the whole of your day (subject to hours booked) so that your photos tell a pictorial story of your wedding day. I will be on hand to capture group shots that we will have planned, beautiful shots of you two, impromptu shots that you or your guests ask for, reportage shots and all the little things that make your wedding special and personal to you. Before you book me, we will first meet to chat through your day and how things work photo-wise. You spend quite a bit of time of your wedding day with your photographer so you need to feel fully at ease with them, so this is a great opportunity for you to meet me and make sure that I am that person. If you wish to proceed I will require a £100 booking fee to secure your date and for you to sign a wedding photography contract, to protect both you and me. Closer to the day it is good to meet up, this time at the venue/s to discuss in detail the timings and the photos you want. If you don't know what you want then I am happy to discuss what the 'normal' is and offer suggestions. If you know exactly what you want then we can discuss this and plan the day so that I make as little impact as possible. Making sure that you get the photos you want without spending hours posing and smiling. Of course the best smiles are usually the ones when you are unaware that I am taking your photograph anyway! You will then get hundreds of edited, high resolution photos of your day on a memory stick and have access to them in an online album. You can pass on your password to the online gallery to friends & family who can view your day and will be able to download any photos that they want. Please feel free to ask any questions even if you think they seem silly. Most people have never been married before so of course all this is new and it is virtually impossible to know how things work with your photographer. I hold public liability insurance & have back up equipment.

What is your most memorable wedding?

A fantastic sunlit wedding in Tenerife high up on the cliff overlooking the deep blue sea. After the ceremony there were drinks and an impromptu dance on the sandy beach. Then the wedding guests all sat round a huge table for their Wedding Breakfast and watched the sun drop behind the sea leaving behind a stunning multi colour sunset. Beautifully romantic!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, fun, unobtrusive, reportage, stylish.

What about your business are you most proud of?

My happy customers that will be looking at my work for years to come.

Always remember that it is your big day, so plan for yourselves. Of course you will consider friends and family whilst planning but ultimately it is your wedding so try not be influenced to do things that you are not happy with.

A full group shot of the happy couple and all their guests.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

White umbrellas and big smiles.

Describe how you got into photography.

I have always loved photography. My first camera was a very basic bellow camera that my Grandad gave me when I was about 6 years old. From there on I have used with many cameras, eventually moving up to an SLR film camera and then on to digital SLRs. I have now turned my passion in to my job and love taking photos of you lovely people out there getting married.
