What is your most memorable wedding?
Any wedding where the guests grinned all day, danced like fools and had the time of their lives.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, non-boring, alternative, documentary, untraditional.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I have been listed in the Top 10 UK photographers and I have now shot over 200 weddings (that amount includes over 10 destination weddings).
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
The best way to love yourself in your wedding photos is to love yourself first. See the bigger picture. Don't focus on your small (sometimes imaginary) flaws; focus on the moment, focus on your smiles, focus on the fun. Always just be your wonderful, unconventional, weird and brilliant selves!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When I receive an enquiry from you (which I hope to be bursting with lots of info about you as a couple and your amazing wedding plans), I will then reply with my package options. We then book a face-to-face or Skype meeting to natter, going over my sample albums and any questions you have. Then you decide on a package you want, sign your contract, pay your reservation fee and you're booked! Easy peasy!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There is no one single photo that suits every couple. Every wedding should be as unique and special as each couple is! I will capture everything as it happens (and I mean EVERYTHING - there is nothing too messy to capture) and create some portrait images that reflect your wacky, wonderful and weird personalities.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
KEEP SMILING - IT'S ONLY RAIN! Definitely don't avoid going outside just because it's raining. Embrace the rain, make it part of your day, take your shoes off and splash in puddles, dash outside for a few seconds with a brolly to get a unique image, do anything you can to make sure you don't feel miserable that it's raining. This is the UK after all, it always rains!!
Describe how you got into photography.
Totally by accident. I asked my dad for a video camera for Christmas and he bought me an SLR camera. And from then on I was hooked!
