What is your most memorable wedding?
Last year I photographed a wedding at a vineyard. The details were very boho and quite minimal, yet it looked elegant and well-done. The bride and groom were incredibly relaxes and did anything for a good picture. Their love shined thru every picture taken that day. You could tell how much the couple was loved by their guests. Every person was off their seats and danced the night away.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
boho, candid, intimate
What about your business are you most proud of?
What my clients rave about me after their wedding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get everything booked a couple of months before to avoid the hassle! Check in with vendors when itineraries change.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We would start off with a Pre-Wedding consultation where the couple will share their style, desired pictures, and go thru dates/availability. I would then draft up a contract, questionaire, and invoice (if they decide to book). A deposit would then be paid to hold the date (40%). A month before the wedding, a meeting would be arranged to go over wedding day timeline and desired shots. Full payment will have been received by wedding day to receive online gallery on time. Online gallery would be received 6-8 weeks after wedding.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I am a sucker for a good kissing-under-the-veil picture.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Coordinate bride and groom to take a picture of pre-ceremony prayer without seeing one another.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A good attitude, wellies, and see thru umbrellas.
