We noted the pure amount of images we received - well over what we expected.
Aden was recommended to us during our search for a wedding photographer in the summer of 2020. Despite us not being familiar with his work from scouring through the web and social media for photographers in the local area, a recommendation from others in the wedding community seemed a positive sign, a sign which proved to be a trustworthy one when we reached out to Aden.
At the beginning of the pre-wedding process, Aden immediately made us feel comfortable despite us being in the centre of the pandemic and not being entirely certain of what was to come in the 2 years preceding the day. Aden assured us of his knowledge of the venue, his extensive experience of weddings similar to ours, and the processes he had in achieving the great results that can be seen across his work online. He also made it clear that should anytime we need anything or want to discuss anything in regards to the wedding at all, that he would make time to do so - of course the confidence Aden instilled left us with no doubts at all!
Nearly 2 years forward and fast approaching the wedding we met again virtually with Aden to discuss all the finalities of the wedding. Here we were informed of who Aden's second photographer would be - Taylar - who'd help him on the day. We were also assured of where and when both himself and Taylar would be throughout the day so as to make sure we were always aware of their whereabouts should we have needed them for anything last minute.
Come the day Aden and Taylar arrived at the venue in the morning, both splitting up to capture each of us getting ready. Again, what seems to be a trademark of Aden's process is how disarming and reassuring his presence is and throughout the day; his banter with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, his chats with the guests and his charm around the venue made all around feel at ease to go about their day without the nerves of knowing a camera would be about documenting their candid moments.
As the ceremony approached, Aden and Taylar came back together and it was noted by the guests that their presence was almost invisible - helping everyone stay in the moment while still capturing all the important bits. Despite this, when the time came to get the more traditional shots, Aden's conscientious approach made the process quick and smooth - allowing us and the guests to get the classic shots we wanted without having to sacrifice too much time that could be spent catching up and socialising after a secluded couple of years. Following the breakfast, Aden took us off site to get a few more posed shots and despite our natural aversion to being in front of camera in that manner - his and Taylar's demeanour helped us have fun with it and made us feel relaxed throughout.
Into the evening Aden and Taylar continued to blend in and capture all the moments usually unseen - making for some genuinely heartfelt images as well as some particularly comedic ones of the bride and groom's parties later on. Staying well past the first dance allowed Aden to really tell the full story of the day in the gallery we received and for that extra time we were extremely grateful and felt that the final product really gave us everything we could have hoped for.
Receiving the finals we noted the pure amount of images we received - well over what we expected. The results where everything we'd wanted and more, the images gave us a chance to relive the day from angles we didn't even know were there - an experience nothing short of priceless. This coupled with their tasteful editing and presentation gives us such a clear portrait into our day that we didn't realise possible in stills.
Thank you to Aden for making this process so easy, to providing exceptional results and to not only documenting our day brilliantly, but adding to it with his presence. We would not hesitate to recommend him again and again.
