What does documentary wedding photography really mean?
Well it means that, as a photographer, I will not interfere with the events during your wedding day, but I will capture it as it happens and as the situations unfold in front of me. This is a style that will first of all allow you and you guests to have a hassle-free day, with no posing, and no interruptions from my part. Also, and that is my aim, to give you beautiful candid imagery of the most important moments of the day, as well as the little ones.
Choosing a wedding photographer is an important decision and you need to feel comfortable with the person that will photograph one of the most important days of your life. No matter how many guests you have invited, I believe a wedding is a very personal and intimate moment in two people's lives. That is why I believe the non invasive style of documentary photography is also the most respectful to you and your guests. I am not here to run the show, you are!
My style is mainly black and white, however I will use colour when I feel it is best suitable. I crave for the little moments that make the day what it is. Some you will have lived, witnessed, and some you will have missed. They will instigate the little conversations with your friends and family when you will go through your photos.
We will work together prior to the wedding to discuss the course of the wedding day, or if you have any requirements or suggestions in particular. My aim is to accompany you in the process and to advise you on what I think will work best and will give you a smooth experience. I will photograph every wedding in its uniqueness and deliver to you images that will transport you back to your wedding day in a blink of an eye, every time you look at them!
Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding your wedding day or my style of photography. I will happily discuss any ideas you have that you think I could help you realise!
