_Wedding Photography by ABC Full Description
To make sure that you can look back at every part of your wedding day, each package includes 'All-Day' coverage, meaning that I'm with you from the pre-wedding preparations and nervousness, right through the day until the party is in full swing and the Ushers and Bridesmaids are having a dance-off! Anything less, and your photos will be missing important chunks of your big day, which would be a real shame to think that any part of the wedding day could be missing from your final set of images. I like to stay in the background all day, observing all of the special moments, the tears and laughter, the confetti and the champagne, ensuring that everything is captured throughout the day! All of these things, plus the tiny details that you've spent care and attention on, make your wedding stand out from every other, so it's important that every thing is covered. All of my packages give comprehensive coverage of your day, and each step up adds something extra to the previous package, from extra images to a fabulous 'all-singing, all dancing' 30 page lay-flat, leather-bound album!

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

Every single wedding is memorable for one reason or another - it's hard to choose a favourite! They're all awesome. Good weather, bad weather, live bands & Dj's, extravagant or intimate - each wedding is special.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, Creative, Reportage , Cheeky, Fun.

What about your business are you most proud of?

It's all me. I put everything I've got into Lightbox Studios and 'Wedding Photography by ABC', so if people like what they see, it's a huge compliment and makes the hard work worth it!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Relax. It will all be fine. Just don't leave it too late to book the things you really want, or they might be gone. Then you'll be booking your 2nd choice, not your favourite!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

One bride a couple of years ago had lost her father quite close to the wedding. It was obviously a very emotional day, made even more poignant by her young son walking her down the aisle instead of his grandad. A lovely moment.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to meet at least once of twice before the big day, including a venue visit if possible. A pre-wedding shoot is always advisable too, just for the couple to get used to being in front of the camera together.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The groom's face as the bride begins to walk up the aisle. It's always an absolute classic moment as they either light up with a huge smile, or dissolve into tears. I always try to capture the emotion without it being staged. I love creating photos that really show how much in love you are with each other, without having to pose or 'act'.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I'm not sure, but possibly being asked to photograph the bride in her underwear as a treat for her husband. It isn't something that happens at every wedding!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas. It's the UK, it rains. Just go with the flow and be prepared to get a tiny bit soggy! Don't let it spoil the day.

Describe how you got into photography.

I've always loved photography, but really got into it again when I was at sixth-form college, spending more than a few hours in the Art Department darkroom with a good friend who later became my wife!
